We finally make our way back to La Push. Atlas takes us up to the door of the house and kneels down so it is easier for us to get down. Sam gets down first and then helps me down. He then picks me up and carries me into the house and gently lays me in the recliner and covers me up.
He went back outside to take care of Atlas for me since I had was on bed rest. When he comes back inside he comes over to me and gives me a soft kiss and places his forehead against mine. That is one thing I love about wolves. They place their foreheads together as a sign of love. It warms my heart every time he does it.
"Are you hungry baby?" He asked rubbing my belly.
"Yes actually. I could eat." I say getting ready to get up and make something. He gentle pushes me back down and covers me back up.
"Relax. Let me take care of you. You do so much for me, let me do this for you okay?" He says.
I smile and nod my head at him. He leaves and goes into the kitchen and I curl up and watch tv. After an hour, he comes back in with a tray of homemade chicken noodle soup, fresh bread, and my favorite fruits. I look up at him and smile. This man knows me so well.
He sits the food on the coffee table and helps me sit up and get comfortable. "This okay baby? Do you need anything else?" He asks after placing the tray in my lap.
"No this is perfect. This is beyond perfect. Thank you Sam." I say giving him a sweet kiss.
As we eat we watch a movie together. When we finished, he took the dishes into the kitchen and cleaned them up. Once he was finished, he came over and picked me up out of the recliner and sat down in it putting me on his lap so I could snuggle in beside of him when he laid back. After getting comfortable, he made sure I was covered and placed a hand on my back and his other on my belly.
He started rubbing it and making small patterns and it wasn't long until our little one was moving. Sam placed his hand in one place and we good feel our little girl press against it. "I can't wait to meet this little girl." He says.
"Me either. I feel like she will have you wrapped around her finger." I say giggling.
"I may be wrapped around her little finger, but you will continue to be my favorite girl in the world and my biggest weakness. Without you, I wouldn't be happy or get to be a dad. And I have you to thank for that." He says peppering kisses all over my face.
I was a giggling mess over the affection he was giving me. He looked me in the eyes and leaned in and placed a soft kiss on my lips. That ended up leading us into have a sweet, loving, and long make out session. It didn't get too heated, just needy of each others touch and pouring our emotions and love to one another.
Once we settle ourselves back down, it wasn't long until we heard the front door open. The boys came in and acted like excited puppies to see me. They were smiling and came over and each gave me a kiss on the cheek.
"We missed you around here Ariel. It wasn't the same." Paul says holding Mason.
"Yes, it was hard not having our mom here to tell us to stop being dumb." Jared says making us all laugh.
Emily and Hercules soon came in after the boys. They all sat around and asked how I was doing.
"I'm doing okay so far. I have some mild pain but not nearly as bad as before. I am just happy it wasn't worse and it didn't hurt the baby. I don't know what I would have done if something happened to the baby." I whisper out. Sam holds me closer.
"Uhh not to bring up bad memories, but Sam told us briefly that Edward did this. Is that true?" Jared asked.
I looked at all of them and nodded my head. "Yes it is true. When I got out to check my tire that is when he attacked me. Told me it was my fault they had to leave because if I would've just come to Bella's party I would've been the one attacked and not her or whatever. It is still kind of fuzzy. I remember him punching me in the face twice, slamming me against the car, and then hit my head hard knocking me out. I didn't know if you all were in wolf form or not so I yelled out for Atlas and it ended up working out to you all finding me. I do know whenever the Cullen's come back though I will probably burn Edward if he shows his face again." I say.
Sam starts growling thinking about Edward hurting his mate. He snuggled back into me and soon calmed down. We ended up changing the subject and talking about what happened over the week I was gone. Jared met his imprint Kim and was waiting for me to be here so I could meet her first before telling her about the legends and imprinting. I was happy for him. He deserved this. Paul went on to telling me about the latest things Mason had discovered he could do. Paul is really turning into a good dad. He is putting in the work and doing everything he can to be a better dad than what he had. Emily told me she recored the bachelorette episode and refused to watch it without me because it is tradition. I thanked her for taking care of the boys while I was gone. Hercules did not have much changing with him. Just same old same old.
All I knew is I was glad to be home, with my husband, bestfriends, and giant boy puppies.
