It is now the day after Paul phased. We get to give him his hair cut and tattoo. Once that is finished, we decided to all go to the beach and have the initiation of cliff jumping from the highest point.
Sam started this tradition. I guess when he first phased he was curious to know he limits so he went to the very top and jumped. He said it was a rush and loved doing it. When Hercules found out he joined him in the fun, and then of course Jared after he phased. So now it is just what has to happen.
You phase, cut your hair, get a tattoo, and jump off a cliff. Such boys. While the boys were going to be doing that, I decided to take Emily on a small adventure.
"Hey Em, while the boys are being boys, do you want to go on a small adventure?" I asked.
"What kind?" She asked.
"The kind where I give you temporary ability to breath underwater and you can swim with me and the ocean animals. What do you say?!" I asked.
"That sounds so cool! Of course I am in."
We quickly change into our bikini's and head down stairs to where the boys are. Before I can put my cover on, Sam comes up to me and kisses all of my scars. I smile up at him when he finishes and kiss his cheek and stroke it softly. I can see in his eyes he still feels bad for what he did.
"It's okay. I forgive you." I reassure him.
He places his forehead against mine and then kisses it. "Alright. You all ready to go?!" I ask.
"Yes!" Jared and Paul say.
"What are you and Emily doing today while we are cliff jumping?" Hercules asked.
"I am taking her on an underwater adventure" I say with a smirk.
"Ooo those are so fun. You'll enjoy it Em. Ariel make sure you give her the all speak so she can communicate with them like we do when we are swimming around." He says.
I just nod my head in understanding. "Wait. I don't mean to sound rude or whatever, but do you turn into a mermaid?" Paul asked.
"I have the ability to turn into one yes but I do not automatically turn into one like the Disney movie." I say.
"Damn that would've been cool." He whispered.
We all head to the truck and go to the beach. When we get there, Emily and I go behind a rock shelf so no one sees us going in or out of the water. I gently rub my thumb across her head giving her all speak and ability to breathe underwater for our adventure.
We we got in it took her a few minutes to get used to being able to breathe and talk under water. We started swimming out further passed the cliff where the boys were. Eventually I used some of my powers to invite animals to come around. It was long until a pod of whales and dolphins showed up.
"Princess Ariel" they greet.
"Hello my babies. This is Emily. She is my soulmates best friend and my best friend as well. She is also Hercules's soulmate!"
"Hi Emily" they all say.
We start swimming around with them and we swim closer to the boys. "Wanna get thrown out of the water? The whales love to just toss me out and keep swimming around." I say to her.
"Is it scary?" She asked.
"For me no because I'm used to it but we can do it together" I say and grab her hand in mine.
"Alright guys, you know what to do. Full speed and strength." I say.

The guys and are have been cliff diving for a while and I'm curious to know where or how the girls are.
As the boys and I are on top of the cliff for another round we hear 2 high pitched screams. I start to panic and see Ariel and Emily get thrown out of the water. They are latched to each other and go fall back into the water.
I start panicking. "What the hell was that?!" Paul says.
"They just got whale tossed. It's one of Ariel's favorite things. They come and swim with her and they she gets on their nose or tail and they throw her out of the water. It's a lot of fun." Hercules says.
"So they are okay?" I asked.
"Oh yeah. Completely fine." He says.
Next thing I know, both girls show up on the backs of dolphins. "Hi boys" Ariel says. I don't respond and just run off the cliff and jump down to her. I look and see Hercules coming down too.
When I went under the water I saw Ariel swim up to me and put her thumb across my head. She then grabs my hand and takes me further into the water. Hercules and Emily are behind us.
Suddenly ocean animals surround us. "Everyone, this is Sam, he's my soulmate. We like him, so please be nice." She says with a small chuckle.
"Yes Princess" they say.
When they all spoke it freaked me out for a second until I realized she gave me all speak to communicate with them. After we swam around for a few more minutes, we went back up to shore. Jared and Paul were pacing freaking out where we went.
"Boys calm down. We are fine." I tell them.
"Don't just leave us like that then! We didn't know what happened." Jared says.
Ariel walks up to him and pulls him into a hug to calm him down. "We are fine Jared. Sam has the ability to breathe underwater anyways with the bracelet I gave him. It's okay. We are fine and here now. Next time we won't just vanish okay?" She says very motherly to him.
She moves over and hugs Paul too calming him down as well. The rest of the day at the beach the boys and I played soccer while Ariel and Emily started to tan. It was a wonderful day of relaxing.
We went back to the house and the girls cooked dinner before we went out for patrol. We are all lucky to have them cooking for us and taking care of us.
