The boys and I went out today for a beach day and cliff jumping. We have been under a lot of stress lately so Ariel told us to go out and have fun. Leah even came with us today since Emmett wanted to cliff jump.
When we get to the house, Emily, Rachel, and Ariel are sitting in the living room watching tv.
I walked up to her and giving Ariel a sweet kiss then leaned over blowing raspberry kisses all over Melody's cheeks making her giggle.
"Daddy stop it" she says to me in my mind. She has started developing more in her telepathic communication.
I gave her another kiss and sat down pulling Melody into my lap.
"How was everything while I was gone?" I asked.
"Oh shoot. Reminds me, boys and Leah get in here" Ariel says.
Like little puppies, they all come in and sit down.
"While you were gone, Carlisle called. As I knew would happen, Alice had a vision of the newborn army. They want a training session tomorrow at 3am. Before you start growling at me, I already told them yes. We need to play the part of being concerned and protect La Push. On top of that, I set up the bait for Renee and maybe even Bella trying to come over while you boys are gone to take Melody and kill me." She says.
I growl thinking of my girls hurt. Ariel looks at me and I stop growling.
"As I was saying, I planned for Rachel, Mason, and Melody to stay at Emily's and Hercules's house. Renee would never think to go there. She is too set on getting Melody and trying to get my powers and kill me." She says.
"So what is your plan for when Renee does possibly show up?" Jared asks.
Ariel looks over at me and I nod my head already knowing where this is going since we have discussed this thoroughly.
"Renee has been a pain in mine and my mother's side for too long. Same with Bella. If Renee does show up and try to attack me, I will be killing her. Since this will more than likely happen during training, after she is killed, I will get on Atlas and bring the body to the Cullens as a warning to never cross us." Ariel says.
Everyone seems to nod their heads.
"I have a question kinda." Emmett says.
"Go head" I say.
"Rose has been texting and calling me non-stop. She texted me earlier saying there was a newborn army after them and needed my help. She went on about missing me and blah blah blah. Anyways, how would you all feel if I stayed here hidden for when Renee comes? Then Ariel won't be alone and Ariel before you rip my head off, I know you don't need protecting. But I do not want to show up to the training on their side. So I could show up with you after Renee is taken care of." Emmett says.
I look over at Ariel and can see she is considering it.
"Sure, you can carry the body. Just do not engage okay? This is between Renee and myself." She says.
"That is fine by me. Also it would not surprise me if Edward tries getting out of the fight. He's good about running from his problems and making the family clean up his messes." Emmett says.
"Don't worry about that. If they want our help they will agree to them all being on the battle field and I will put a forcefield around Bella until it is time for Victoria to show up and kill her." Ariel says.
"Sam you are being awfully quiet during this meeting. Do you have anything to say or add?" Hercules asks me.
"No I don't. Ariel and I have talked about this a lot and the differently possibilities. I am letting my wife take over this one this time. Ariel knows what she is doing. I trust her judgement." I say.
"I just want this drama over with." Jacob says.
"Trust me I do too. Ariel and I just ask to trust us in this process. Your luna will not steer you wrong." I tell them firmly.
"Now, let's get some food and get to bed early since we have training with the Cullens." Ariel says.
The rest of the afternoon and evening, the girls fix us some food and makes sure we are full before going to bed. Rachel took Melody with her to Emily's. When I finally laid down Ariel crawled in next to me.
"Promise me you won't get hurt if Renee shows up." I whisper to her.
"I promise Sam. I fully plan on using my magic to its full ability if I have to. I am not letting her or Bella hurt my family anymore." She says.
"Good. Now get some sleep. I love you" I say giving her another kiss.
