The elders have now showed up for dinner/meeting. Embry has already came down from upstairs and now we are just waiting on Ariel and Melody.
Soon they came down and all sat down and began eating. Small talk picked up all around the table. Rachel and Ariel were feeding Mason and Melody while eating in between those spoon feeds.
Watching her being a mother and a Luna warms my wolf heart so much. After we finish eating, the girls get everything cleaned up while us guys get the bonfire set up.
Not much longer, the girls come out and Ariel comes and sits next to me with Melody in her wrap against her chest.
"Alright so Sam you called this meeting. Would you care to fill us in on why?" Billy asks.
Before I start, I look over at Embry. I nod my head encouraging him to speak up.
"Uhh actually Sam called this meeting for me." Embry say shyly next to Ariel.
"Please continue" Billy encourages.
"So I uhh, I was able to go back to school since my shift was under control. While I was there, I ended up imprinting. Long story short, my imprint said some pretty hurtful things to me because I had disappeared for a week and such. Anyways, the reason we called this meeting was because I imprinted on Jacob and we wanted to bring it to you to decide if he should be warned of his heritage or not." Embry blurts out.
It is dead silent right now. Embry starts to shift closer to Ariel for comfort.
"So now that fates have put you together are you going to finally tell my son you are in love with him?" Billy asks softly.
"W-wh-what? You know?" Embry asks.
"Oh please, I have known. You are not very good at covering up how you feel towards him. I am happy for you and hope he gets his head out of his ass too. Now, as for the preparing him and telling him. Can I ask why you all feel as he should know before it actually happens?" Billy asks.
One by one each boy began telling their stories to the elders. They sat quietly and listened to each story until it was my turn.
"For me, my shift wasn't the easiest. You all clearly know how much of an ass I was turning my first few weeks or so of my phase. If I would've been more prepared a part of me thinks it would have been different for me. After listening to each of the boys stories before this meeting even happened, a part of me wished I could have warned them of what was to come. However, I didn't really have a chance. Right now, not only is Jacob an imprint but he also has the gene. I personally think, if we were to telling him about the legends he can accepted it better and maybe have an easier phase than the rest of us. Also, Embry has asked though to not tell him about imprinting yet if we were to tell him incase he doesn't imprint back. Embry wants to be the one to do it when the time is right and I agree with him." I state.
"Well you all make good points to why he should be warned and we also see reasons to why we maybe should wait in case he doesn't actually shift. We do not know. However, Ariel, I am curious to know what you think about this." Harry asks.
"I am biased on this. As a mom and luna, I want nothing more than for my puppies to be happy. For this situation, that would be Embry getting to be with his imprint and being there to help with the shift. Also it would allow us to get Jacob away from the leech-loving Swan. We have all talked and seem to fine with either direction at the end. Sam has made it clear outsiders would not be welcomed and he would have to control his shift before being able to go out in public without another with him. My only fear now is that Bella has her claws too deep in him and is using him to get over twinkle toes. She will grow curious when he disappears, whether we tell him before it happens or wait until after. That bitch is going to cause this pack problems and I say that to all of you, I will not hold back when it comes to her. You all are my family, my kids, and my mate so I will do whatever it takes and take down whoever it is to make sure that happens." Ariel states firmly.
Damn she's hot when she is in her authoritative mode. Makes me want to just bend her off right here. Okay okay Sam snap out of it. Come on man pull it together. We are in a meeting right now. I say to myself.
The Elders asked for a few minutes to discuss this alone so we respected their privacy and stepped away. A little while later, they called for us to come back.
"Alright, well we have reached a decision that we are okay with whatever you guys what to do. Whether that is wait or tell him. Also for future shifters, if you notice they are starting to fill out in their bodies, talk with us again, and we will go about warning them. We think it is reasonable to prepare them because this is not an easy life style to be in. We also want you all to know you are doing an amazing job being a pack and protecting everyone. Sam you are being a fantastic Alpha and have one hell of a Luna next to you. If you all ever need anything you know to contact us. If that will be all, we will leave for the night and let you all continue to talk amongst yourselves for the final decision. Goodnight everyone." Billy states.
And with that they all left. Once they did leave, I stated quiet waiting for anyone to speak up.
"If we tell him I say it will be this Saturday. Gives us a week to get everything we need to say be prepared and organized." Jared says. I nod in agreement.
"Embry what do you think?" I ask.
"Besides to pure fear I am feeling, I think it is best that we tell him Saturday as well. That will give me a week to maybe convince him to come to the bonfire and worse come to worse, Billy will make him come." He says.
"Then that is what we will do. Okay guys, that will be all for this evening. Hercules and Jared have patrol, for everyone else, enjoy your evening. Good night boys"
"Goodnight" they all say.
I then help Ariel up and we go upstairs and put Melody to bed. I spent a couple extra minutes with my baby just loving on her. When I left her room, I walked to mine and Ariel's expecting her to be asleep already, but instead, I find my sexy wife laying back on her elbows with her legs spread wide open beckoning me to come over.
