Sam and I continued getting closer. It has been a couple months since we've completed the bond. We never expected how it would affect us. We were already close to begin with but the bond has increased our affection.
With the mating marks we found out something very interesting. It does help sam or me calm the other down when we place our heads into their neck taking in their scent, but it also is very sensitive when it comes to intimacy.
I found that out the hard way. One evening after Sam came home from patrol I was hugging on him, and starting kissing his neck, to his ear and then I decided to kiss his mark. Once I did that he growled and let out a moan. So of course me being me, I spent a little extra time kissing it, and well lets just say he went full feral Alpha on me that night. It was amazing and so worth the limp the next morning.
Emily and I are cooking breakfast when we hear a howl. It did not sound like Sam and my necklace didn't start glowing, meaning Sam wasn't in trouble. About an hour later Sam comes walking into the house with a boy following behind him.
"Ariel, Emily, this is Jared, he just shifted."
"Oh so you're the howl I heard earlier. Well welcome to the pack, we will explain everything but first lets get you fed. Come on, take a seat, ill bring the food over." I tell him. He just stares at me but shakes it off and moves to the table.
"You'll get used to this. Both Ariel and Emily are basically pack moms. Making sure we are fed all the time. Ariel is my imprint which we will explain later and our Luna." Sam says coming from the living room.
Emily and I make sure the boys have enough before we grab our plates and join them at the table. As we were eating, Sam was explaining everything to him except mine and Hercules's story. Jared was able to understand the vampires, the treaty, and imprinting. He took it better than I expected. However, he did not take my story very well.
"You mean to tell me that you are a goddess of animals and nature, a princess of the sea and Atlantis?" Jared asks.
"Vampires are real and you turn into a dog, you can't wrap your brain around the fact gods and goddesses are real too?" I ask back chuckling.
"Well when you put it that way it makes sense. So then you are Sam imprint and he's your soulmate, and Emily and Hercules are soulmates?"
"Yes." All four of us respond.
"There's one more thing Jared. You cannot go to school until your temper is under control, and you can't see your friends anymore. It is too easy to wolf out and hurt the ones you love." Sam says hugging me and kissing my scars.
"I'm guessing it's because of experience and you don't want us to go through that?"
"Yes." Sam says.
"Can I ask what caused it?"
"Long story short wolfie over here kept pushing away and it was causing us pain in our chest and one day instead of being sad about it, I was pissed off. He had the bright idea to follow outside to the stable meadow and tried talking to me. I started yelling at him cause he was being a dick and when I was in the process of calling him an asshole he wolfed out. His temper wasn't under control yet and he was still new to phasing so it was both of our faults. I've forgiven him, but every time he sees the scars on my neck he relives that moment again." I say as sam has his head into my neck whimpering.
"Wow, yeah I see why you don't want us around other until we are under control." Jared says.
"I will be able to help you with your temper and learning to control it. Sam can help with your shift and getting used to being in wolf form and knowing the area. We have plenty of spare rooms here, so you are more than welcome to stay here if you need until you can control your temper enough to go home." I say.
The rest of the day, Sam and Hercules took Jared out and showed him the treaty and helped train him in wolf form. Emily and I spent the day cleaning the house. It hadn't been done in a while so we turned on some music and got to work. We got a spare room ready for Jared to sleep in, made sure he had plenty towels, and other supplies.
We finished and it wasn't time to start dinner yet so we turned on an episode of the bachelor and grabbed the wine! We ended up watching two episodes and were half way into the third when the guys got back. It was in the middle of shit going down.
"Are they always like this?" I heard Jared ask.
"Yes we are now stop talking, shit is getting good." I say finishing my glass and pouring another one. I heard sam start to chuckle as him and Hercules were used to this. So they came over and sat down next to us as we finished the episode. It was funny that by the end all three guys were into the episode.
"Alright boys, we will get started on dinner. Jared we got a spare room for you ready, there's towels, supplies and jean shorts in there for you." I tell him.
"She really is a mom" he says not realizing it was out loud.
"Yes I am. So don't piss me off or you will feel my mom wrath or starve." I say sternly but chuckle at the end.
We had steak, potatoes, corn, salad, and rolls for dinner. I made sure to make Sam's favorite muffins to have for dessert and for breakfast tomorrow if he wanted.
"Thank you both so much for everything you did to make the room ready for me. I really appreciate it." Jared says.
"Anytime you need anything please just ask. Ill do whatever I can to help." I tell him.
Emily and I cleaned up the dishes and kitchen and went our ways for the night. I went to the room and already saw Sam had showered and was in bed waiting for me. I jumped into his arms and snuggled into his neck planting small kiss on his neck before settling down for the night and falling asleep with my wolf.
