Okay he is gay. That is fine, that is his choice. But I am more stunned at who the imprint is. Like oh my gosh!!!! Once I finally process this I speak up.
"Jacob, as in my god-son Jacob?" I asked. Embry nodded his head.
"Yeah. It is him. Always has been, always will be." He says. I smile as him and grab his hands.
"Embry why do you think he doesn't like you back?" I asked.
"I don't know. But he seems to be all about Bella now. Ever since she got out of that depressive coma or whatever, she has been with Jacob every day. Even before I phased she was always around. Did I really lose my chances with him over a pale ass bitch with no personality and doesn't know an actual thing about him. She is just using him to get over princess sparkles and his band of disco balls." He says.
I couldn't help but laugh at his statement. "Oh Embry, this is why you are my favorite! Listen, it will be okay. One way or another it will work out the way it is suppose to. And if things go bad, you and I can curl up with Melody, stuff our faces with ice cream and cry it out over sappy romance movies." I tell him sweetly.
"Thank you Ariel. This means a lot to me. Um I am going to go out for another drive, could you maybe talk to Sam about this for me? I don't think I can face him right now." He says.
"Of course sweetie. Do what you need to do." I say to him giving him one last hug.
After Embry leaves, I feed Melody and we snuggle close waiting for Sam and the boys to get home. I decided to go ahead and start some lunch up for the boys.
About 30 minutes later the boys shove each other through the door laughing and goofing around. It wasn't long until Sam came in and walked over to Melody who was in her bouncer by the kitchen island where I was putting together the last of the food.
Sam picks her up and she starts squealing and giggling at her father.
"Who's the cutest babygirl in the world. You are. Yes you are!" He say kissing all over her face making her giggle more.
Uhg seeing them together makes my uterus and ovaries burst wanting more puppies. I quickly clear my throat and get back to finishing up.
"Hey boys, we need to talk" I say to them. Sam comes over to me and gives me several soft quick kisses.
"Hi my sweet Ocean" he says.
"Hi wolfie. Get some food. This is kinda a serious talk I need to have with you three." I tell him.
Once everyone had their food and started eating, I decided to talk.
"Alright something has happened to Embry today. Before you start blasting out questions let me talk first. He imprinted today at school. He ended up getting confronted by them for disappearing for a week and they said some pretty hurtful things. Anyways, he is out driving around right now trying to calm down and has asked me to tell you all about this because he is scared to tell you all a piece of him and who his imprint is. So please for the love of all things good and pure, be nice and no teasing about this okay?" I say sternly looking at all three.
They just nod their heads. After a few minutes Sam speaks up "can we ask questions?" He asks.
"Yeah of course" I say.
"Who is the imprint?" He asks.
"Jacob Black" I say softly.
All three of their eyes widen in shock. "This is the piece he was scared to face you all with. He has never came out to anyone but me and for some reason he couldn't face you all. I told him I would do it for him. He is crushed, like really crushed. Jacob threw in his face that he was a bastard and some cult member and just ripped his heart out. However, there is another thing I want to talk to you guys about. Jacob is already forming into his shifter size and he is suppose to phase. So the question is, do we prepare him for it? Or do we let it happen?" I ask them.
Paul soon speaks up, "honestly, I think it may be better to prepare him for this. I know it would've helped me when I was shifting, however, everyone is different. Would we tell him about imprinting too? Or just the fact that he will shift? If we are going to tell him about imprint he will probably phase over the fact I imprinted on his sister. He was pissed enough when he found out she was dating me." He says.
"I agree with Paul, I think warning him may be best. We can keep better control on his temper and make his shifter easier than it was for us. I also see the con's side of it because he may take longer to shift so the anticipation of it may worsen his temper. I don't know. It is just any option." Jared says.
I look over at Sam who is sitting there taking it all in and thinking himself. Then he soon speaks up.
"I know when I shifted it was a lot and traumatizing. However, I had this beauty over here helping me out although I was a dick to her. Anyways, why don't we talk with Embry and get his opinion then talk with the elder's. I don't think it is a normal thing for wolves to imprint within the pack on another shifter. However, I could be wrong. I will apply the same rule's though that he should stay out of school once he shifts and cannot tell anyone about this." He says.
"I think that is a reasonable way to go about this. Just when Embry get's back please just be easy on him. Okay? He needs support right now" I say to them.
"We promise" Paul says.
The rest of the afternoon, the boys passed some football outside. When Embry came back, the boys kept him outside and talked with him about the imprinting and what he thinks about telling Jacob or waiting.
In the end, Embry was fine with telling him about shifting but did not want to tell him about imprint until he shifted and had a chance to see if he imprinted back.
