It's almost the end of April and been 3 weeks since the Cullens tried getting me to come over to their place to get tested on and Bella trying to tell me Sam has someone else on the side along with other bullshit drama.
Here lately I have been feeling sick and I'm not sure why. Sam was going to be gone today for a meeting with the Elders and then patrol tonight so I decided to go to Atlantis and have the doctors check me out there. When I got there, they worked me straight in and took some tests.
The doctor came back soon with the results. "Well Ariel, no terrible sickness, illness or disease came up in your tests however, we did notice hCG count was higher." She says.
"What does that mean?" I asked her.
"Sweetie, you are pregnant." She says.
I instantly start tearing up thinking about being a mother. I place my hand on my belly and rub it thinking about our puppy in their.
"Now I should warn you with you being full goddess and your soulmate being a supernatural shifter, your pregnancy will be 5-6 months instead of 9 due to the magic and powers from both sides." She says.
"So when am I looking to be due then? And will there be any complications because of my magic or his shifter gene?" I asked nervously.
"No. Everything will be fine. And you are about 3 weeks along now so around October" she says.
I smile at her "thank you for seeing me today." I say. I decide I want to share this with my dad first while I am here. I go and find his office and knock.
"Come in" he says. I open the door and see him at his desk.
"Hi dad." I say.
"Hi princess. I didn't know you were coming today." He says.
"I didn't either until this morning. I have been sick and came down to see what's wrong and well I got my answer." I say
"And?" He says curiously.
"I'm pregnant" I say tearing up again.
I look up and see dad tearing up too. "I'm going to be a grandfather?" He asks.
"Yes. You are going to be a grandpa." I say to him. He then pulls me into a hug.
"Congratulations princess." He says kissing my head.
We continued to talk for a few more minutes until I needed to leave and make a cute box to tell Sam. As I get back to La Push I drive to the store and find the cutest little onesies to give everyone. I grab plenty of bags and a box to pack everything in. Once I check out I head home and thankfully no one is here.
I then go inside and turn on some music and start wrapping the gifts and getting them ready. As the day went on I found myself rubbing my belly more thinking about our little pup inside.
