I woke up this morning and felt deliciously sore between my legs. I crawled out of bed to go shower before Melody wakes up for her feeding. Once I get all cleaned up, I see Sam is still asleep. I quietly go out of the room and get Melody.
"Oh good morning my gorgeous babygirl" I say kissing her.
"Mama" I hear in my head. It freaks me out because Melody did not move her mouth what so ever.
"Uhhh Melody. Are you in my head?" I asked.
"Yes" is all she says.
I start freaking the fuck out and text my dad and mom 911 so they will get here quickly. While waiting, I go downstairs and place Melody in her bouncer after she ate. Not much longer mom and dad show up.
"Hi honey. You okay?" Mom asks.
"No. I went to get Melody this morning and when I greeted her, she spoke back to me but telepathically. I think. I don't know. I may just be losing my mind." I say starting to pace again.
"Okay Ariel, sweetie calm down. You did it with me when you were very young. It is part of your power ability since you can speak telepathically to us and animals." Dad says.
"Is that normal?!" I blurt out.
"For gods and goddess yes. It is typical that they speak telepathically with their parents if that is part of their magical ability. Plus now, you will be able to talk with her more and know exactly what she is needing" dad says.
"Yeah I guess that is true." I say.
"Good. Now, different topic. You wanna explain why you have a hand print around your throat and why you have bruises all over your body?" Dad says getting angry.
I blush as bright as my hair. "Dad I think you of all people do not want to hear that answer." I say.
"No Ariel I want to know why." He says angry and firmly. So fine I decide to give him the answer he wants but won't want to hear.
"Okay fine. I got them when my husband was fucking me into submission last night. He's been stressed so I let him and his wolf take full control of me and had a very blissed out night. That the answer you wanna hear?" I ask with a smirk.
"I swear you are gonna be the death of me child." He mumbles and walks away causing me and mom to giggle.
"Dear, she told you that you wouldn't want to know." Mom says.
After another fit of giggles, Emily shows up so we can start making breakfast for the family. Breakfast was almost done when the boys showed up and Sam came down stairs.
When he saw me his eyes went wide in panic and he rushed over to me looking over me.
"Oh Ocean, I am so sorry. Are you okay? Did I hurt you? I-I-I'm so sorry" he says with his voice cracking thinking he actually hurt me.
