Today the agreed fixed date for the wedding to commence. The usual razzmatazz of a wedding was totally absent as they wanted it to be just family

Asma's family were not that much only Ahmad as her Waliy and her mom,who's family were all dead in a car accident and their deceased father's family consisted of their only uncle who they decided not to be invite for the Nikkah.

The clatter sound of hurried steps was heard all over the compound as the angry Fateema made her way slightly tripping on the way to the front door of Asma's House,her younger brothers held baskets full of souvenirs and her Mother who looked at her with a troubled face all tailed behind her.

    "SalamuAlaikum my people" Fateema salamed making her way into the living room where she met Asma,Asma's mom and Ahmad discussing about the Nikkah that will took place in the evening as they want it to be low key with just them and Hameed's family .

     "This girl here is elated to be invited to her best friend's Nikkah!!LATE" Fateema fumed sarcastically as she found herself a seat.

Her mother and her brothers also made their appearance in the living room , Asma's mother Khadijah quickly stood up and hugged her friend.
    "Masha Allah Sameera thank you for coming" Khadijah said with a smile.

Sameera Fateema's mother smiled and hugged her back. "Never mind we're always here for you Insha Allah, Kasim(Fateema's Father)would be here in the evening for the Fatiha insha Allah,how is the preparation going?"Sameera asked pulling away from the hug.

    "We're not making it grand and Hameed's family agreed to that, so we're only having the Nikkah this evening and that's all" Khadijah explained leading her friend to the three seater in the living room.

"SalamuAlaikum Khala"the twins said in unison, making themselves comfortable at the two seater while keeping the baskets aside.

       " ohh little pumpkins!!" she cooed then asked "Waalaikum salam Aman and Ameen how are doing?"

     "We're good alhamdulilah"they answered back.
Asma and Ahmad both greeted Sameera who hugged Asma and congratulated her.

The two families sat there in harmony, Khadijah and Sameera lost in their world discussing about everything and anything while the twins engaged themselves in a conversation with Ahmad about the latest game in town, Asma sat there close to Ahmad lost in her thoughts and the legendary Fateema who's still angry about the late invitation decided to break the peace

"So you're all not worried about me being informed late, can you believe this I just heard it that my best friend since when we're children is getting married and I don't know where,when and how this happened, how they met and all other things . I am deeply hurt to the extent that my heart ache"Fateema lamented holding her hands up to her chest.

One of the twins Aman asked with a chuckle.
"But you're informed at last. right?"

Adjusting her sitting position she faced him and said

"Yes I was informed , but what I was talking about is ,I want to be involved in everything since from the beginning, she shouldn't just accept his proposal like that she should at least keep him on his toes for weeks before she agreed humph!!I am disappointed Asma as if am not your best friend,you should at least not accept the proposal this early, you should play too hard to get"

Huh? The twins black eyes widen out due to Fateema's advice
"Ukhti you're trying to brainwash sister Asma" Ameen said accusingly.

Fateema scoffed with a glare folding her hands to her chest.

"Of course not,i am not that low"she continued
"What I was trying to say was that she shouldn't just accept his proposal this early"

One of the twins again questioned
"So now if someone ask for your hand in marriage you're going to give him hard time before you accepted him"
