Well it was a bright morning and all I can think was how I lost 2 weeks ago
"So that thing is still in my mind, eh, well I should just forget about it and train Kazuki"
Kazuki barged in my room and jumped on my futon stomach first
"Hurry up bro, I need to get strwonger" he said confidently
I get up use the bathroom, eat breakfast and get in my garb
"Sooner or later I'll change my garb" I go outside and look to my left as the barrel with wooden swords were in there
I grabbed 2 and went to the forest where Kazuki went without me
I sped through the trees and I was at the training ground
I looked at Kazuki who was jumping as high as he could
"Hey, Kazuki" I shouted, he looked at my direction as I tossed him the wooden sword
"Oh cool, are we going to use this Ren" I nod as I smiled at him
"Sure are" His eyes sparkled
"I'm going to become a professional swordsman, yay"
"*cough* Professional" Kazuki looked at him ruining the mood
"Anyways let's begin, now hold your sword the way you want to hold it" Kazuki used both his hands as held his sword to the left side of his face
"Not bad Kazuki" Kazuki giggled
I took my sword and held it in front of me
We both charged at each other clashing our wooden swords, Kazuki keeping up as he overpowers me
"That's embarrassing" I looked at Kazuki I kicked him stopping his madness
"Wow who would've known that a boy like you had what it took" Kazuki giggled
"Well Ren if you hadn't know, I studied your moves during the tournament" I laughed
"Well let's wrap this up and play around the village" Kazuki agreed as we had our final match and thought him few more stances and attacks
We left the forest and made it back to the village where the kids were playing
"Hurry up Ren" I looked at him, A kid with joy in him
'Kazuki you are the true ninja people talked about' I ran behind Kazuki as he continued to run back into the village
"Dang it Kazuki" I kept up with Kazuki and made it back
Once I entered the village I heard my father yell out to me
I looked at Kazuki and told him to go on without me I'll see him later, he did as told and I ran to my father
"Good your here" he said as I saw a little girl behind him
"So who's that?" My dad looked at the girl in disappointment
"This right here is Ricka Machiyuki"
"Dad, why are you upset?" I asked just to make sure I wasn't wrong
"I wanted it to be a surprise" I knew it
"So....."
"Um..... Yeah" Araya asked
"What is she a human or a ninja?"
"Oh right, apparently she lived in a old run down shack and I found her digging in some trash for food, so I wanted you to go buy her some food and bring her back here so your mother could take care of her"
"Why not you?"
"I have a mission to go to and I'll be back by dinner, so I'll see ya later" Araya jumped on the roof vanishing in thin air
"Cool" I looked at the sky for a few seconds then looked at the girl
"Well if you heard my name is Ren, Ren Araya '' I looked at her and walked past her. I turned around and looked at her
"Well, come on" I continued to walk as I heard her footsteps behind me
We made it to a food stand
"Good afternoon young ones, what would you like" The old woman said
"I'd like 2 ham sandwiches" The old lady smiled
"Coming right up" I turned to Ricka
"So where did you come from?" I asked but got no answer
'Hm, maybe if I ask Kazuki to play with her it wouldn't be a problem'
"Hey, do you wanna go play with my little brother and his friends, I forgot I had to do something later so I won't get the chance to play, haha" Ricka nods and I smile
"Alright, let's head back when we get our sandwiches"
A few more minutes went by and the woman came back with our sandwiches. We paid her and waved goodbye to the kind woman
We made it back to the Village and I spotted Kazuki
"See that kid over there" I pointed "He's my little brother Kazuki, let's go shall we" We walked towards Kazuki who was playing with the kids
"Hey, Kazuki!" I shouted and got his attention, He came running to me as he hugged me
"Now this is embarrassing" I looked at him
"Alright Kazuki that's enough, anyways I have someone who you should meet" Kazuki let go of me and looked at me
"Who?" He said with a confused expression
"This here is Ricka" I said as I showed him the little girl
"Bro your getting married early" I looked at him and hit his head
"No you dimwit"
"She's your new friend, I have to go back and help mom with dinner now take care of her, she'll be living with us till she tell us where she lives"
"Oh, okay" I left Kazuki and Ricka while I go and help my mother
"Okay, Ricka wanna play tag with me and the others" I said happily
She only nods
"Um, Ricka, can you speak?" She shook her head
"But you can understand, right?" She nods
"Oh Okay if you can do that then I'm fine with it"
We both ran with the others and started playing till dawn
Everyone went home and I went back home with Ricka
We ate dinner and took a bath
"Hey, Ricka look a bubble" she smiled
We got out the bath and I placed a futon down so she could sleep
"Um, Ricka now that I think about it" Ricka looks at me
"Are you a sword user?" She nods
"That's cool I want to be just like my father, someone who wields a sword and can protect my family" Ricka smiles as I laugh
We both went to sleep till my training the next day
