It was a hot night in the small cottage my husband and I lived in, and I certainly wasn't going to get any sleep. I sighed, and kept tossing and turning, trying my best not to wake my sleeping lover, but alas, failing to do so. When those hazel eyes opened up, I groaned. "Garth, I'm so sorry...I just..." "Can't sleep?" Garth guessed. I nodded.

"Me neither," Garth admitted, a sheepish smile on his face. "You know...We haven't had our little night chat. Perhaps that is the reason we can't sleep," I inquired, propping myself up on my elbow, and facing him. He mirrored my actions, and pursed his lips together. "So you don't find it annoying when I talk about how I saved the winchester's asses a thousand times?" He asked, raising an eyebrow, and smirking.

I chuckled softly. "I rather enjoy our conversations. Plus, It is not only you who's saved them," I said. Garth grinned. "What should our... topic of conversation be tonight then?" He asked, wiggling his eyebrows. I made a hm sound, then said, "Relationships," Garth's eyes widened. "What do you mean?" he asked. I smirked, "Well, you've never told me about the other women you where with before me. I promise I won't get jealous," I said.

Garth snorted, and flopped back onto his back. "I guess my relationships have been like yours," Loki started, already knowing I had a few flings here and there, but never true love. "I never cared for any of the girls I tried dating...Which weren't exactly a whole lot...They all ended up leaving me," He explained.

I moved close to him, and laid my head on his bare chest, listening to the rhythmic beating of his heart. "Well they're stupid for leaving such an amazing and brave hunter such as yourself," I hummed, causing Garth to giggle. "Why thank you," He laughed. I smiled. "Then what happened? After dating those idiots?" I asked. "Then...hen you came along. The beautiful Y/N," He whispered, planting a kiss on my head. "And I found what it feels like to be in love,"

"Aw you cheesy ass," I mumbled, involuntarily cuddling closer to him. Garth's smile widened. "Well it takes one to know one," He said, a sassy tone in his voice. I giggled, but just then, the sound of crying filled the room. I sighed. "I've got her," I muttered, throwing the blanket off me, and walking to our baby girls crib.

"Just like your father. Always complaining," I whispered, grinning innocently, and scooping her into my arms. I heard a gasp of mock horror from behind me, knowing he heard me. "How dare you!" He accused, teasingly. I laughed again, and began rocking our daughter back and forth, humming a tune to her.

Garth came up behind me, and wrapped his arms around my waist, looking down at our baby Raina. "She looks just like you," He whispered. I grinned. "Of course. If she looked like you, she'd never get a husband," Garth sniggered. "Oh you sly fox," He teased, nibbling at my neck. I squirmed, releasing myself from his grip, and finding that Raina had stopped crying. "Mothers touch," I whispered, setting her back in her crib.

Garth and I crawled back in bed, snuggling together. "I can't believe it's only been a year since we married," I thought out loud. "Neither can I," Garth said back. "To think we have been friends since childhood, only to realize we where supposed to be together," I added, smiling at the memory of little Garth.

"I feel the same way. You knew all of my secrets, like how I stole Jimmy's cookies at lunch, and you where always there for me no matter what. It wasn't until a few years ago I realized that I was deeply in love with you, and no one could change that,"

I chuckled, then moved myself closer to Garth, and cuddled into his chest, feeling tears welling up in my eyes. "God Garth. You make me...Incredibly happy," I whispered, looking into his sparkling eyes. "I'm glad. If your happy, I'm happy,"Garth spoke, taking a strand of my hair, and curling it around in his finger, leaning down, and pressing his lips to mine. I kissed back in delight.

"I love you,"

"And I love"

All of a sudden, Raina began to wail again. I groaned, and rubbed my face. "We love you too Raina, but we need sleep!" I exclaimed. Garth laughed, and stood. "I guess mother's touch didn't work after all," He teased. I shot him a playful glare as he picked up Raina, and began to rock her. "Yea? Well do you have boobs? Because if not, good luck trying to get her to stop crying," I shot back.

Garth froze. "She's hungry...Isn't she?" "Yup," I said, popping the 'p'. "Raina sweetie, I think you are in need of mothers touch,"
