Virat and Rohit went to (read barged into) Mahi's room startling him. Virat straight went and lay down in his lap.

"Why u both always barge in like this ? Kabhi aaram se nhi aa sakte" said Mahi caressing Virat's hair.

They both just ignored the statement as if they didn't hear it.

"Cheeku is your hand okay now? Is it paining ?" asked Mahi in concern.

"Kuch nhi pain ho raha bhai .. pata hai he is just using it as an excuse so that I will do his work" said Rohit complaining about him.

"Bhai dekho kaise bol raha hai. I have eight stitches, he is saying there is no pain" said Virat revealing that it was paining yet.

"Vi tujhe Abhi bhi pain hai ?" asked Rohit in concern.

"Thoda sa" said Virat in return.

"Toh idiot bola kyu nhi .. ruk mai ice pack leke aata hu" said Rohit and was going but stopped hearing Mahi's voice.

"Ro its here .. u can take it from here" said Mahi pointing to the mini-fridge.

Rohit took it and started applying it softly.

"Rohit Abhi toh u were complaining about him and now .." said Mahi teasingly.

Rohit just pouted at that teasing and continued his work. Virat chuckled at that.

"Waise how come u both are here?" asked Mahi.

"Kyu hum aa nahi sakte yaha?" said Rohit questioning him.

"Nahi mera Matlab wo nhi tha" said Mahi defending.

"Bhai aap humesha IPL ke time aise hi karte ho .. u ignore us and just talk to other members" said Virat whining this time.

"Yes bhai he is saying correct .. why they stick to u, the foreign kids" said Rohit annoyingly.

"Here u are not giving us importance and On top of that u are smiling" said Virat seeing him smile.

"I am just waiting to see that till how much extent you can go being jealous" said Mahi amusingly.

"We are not jealous" said Rohit.

"Ofcourse not" said Mahi.

"How many times I have to put in your chotu sa brain that u are my first kiddos and no one can take ur place" said Mahi.

"Bhai that's not the point. The point is u stay away from them.. bas!" Said Virat in a final time.

"Acha ji" said Mahi.

"Yes bhai .. u should give all ur attention to us" said Rohit.

"You both are never gonna grow up" said Mahi smilingly.

"Cheeku how do u turn a responsible brother to Princess I never understand.. here u are whining about my attention like a child" said Mahi.

"Bhai I am multitalented na" said Virat raising his collar.

Mahi just laughed at that. They just talked for a while and Virat slept in Mahi's lap.

Rohit went to check on Athiya but he found Rahul first. Rahul dragged him to his room.

"What happened Rah ?" Asked Rohit.

"Bro, is Virat still angry with me?" Asked Rahul nervously.

"Obviously, what did u expect?" Said Rohit.

"But I really got worried for Athiya and could not think about what I said" replied Rahul in a stressful time.

Athiya was passing by the room when she overhears Ro's n Rah's conversation and her name. It got her curious.

"Look u love Vi a lot. N falling for Athiya will only make u two distant" said Rohit trying to make him understand.

Athiya got shocked hearing that.

"So am I supposed to just brush off my feelings for her or act as if I don't love her?" Said Rahul offended.

Athiya got surprised after hearing that Rahul loves her.

"Vi is overprotective of Atihya mainly in this issue cuz of something that has happened in past. He might not understand u" said Rohit calmly.

"I don't care if he doesn't understand me, it's fine even if she doesn't understand me, I LOVE HER n nothing is gonna change this" said Rahul angrily.

Athiya really got shocked to hear the angry voice of Rahul declaring his love for her.
She could not stand there. She left for her room.

"What If u'll have to choose between both of them?" Asked Rohit questioningly.

"I love Vi, n irrespective of whether we r in talking terms or not that's not gonna change. He's my idol n my elder brother. But what I feel for Athiya is so many times more than that, n I can't imagine anyone else in my life other than her." Said Rahul sincerely.

"What if she doesn't love you?" Asked Rohit.

"That's her wish. I'm ok with what ever she chooses but that's not gonna effect my love for her" said Rahul but in his heart he wanted her to love him.

Saying this he left the room. Rohit just sighed at the conversation totally confused. He made up his mind to talk to Virat.

Athiya's POV -

Heart ♥️ - "Rahul loves me!".

Brain 🧠 - "Here I was thinking he just likes me as a friend. I could see a different emotion in his eyes whenever he used to talk to me but Love ?"

Heart ♥️ - "but such love that he fought with Bhai .. for my health"

Heart ♥️ - "I liked how he is worried for me. But I never thought that he loved me or if I loved him"

Brain 🧠 - "I cannot love him .. no I can't make the same mistake again"

Brain 🧠 - "Why he had to do this ! Our Friendship was going so smooth."

Heart ♥️ - "Was it really friendship"

Brain 🧠 - "No I can't have feelings for him .. no never .. I can't loose my bhai again"

Heart ♥️ - "But he is really nice and sweet to me"

Finally Brain 🧠 takes over.
"No I cannot ... I cannot repeat my mistake. This is all infatuation. No I can't fall for him .. he is just my friend."

Thinking all this she just covered herself with comforter till face trying to shut all her thoughts that her heart was signalling and slept.
