Millie's P.O.V
...
It was the next day.
The day before her competition.
For it being her first one, she wasn't entirely nervous anymore.
After watching Milo succeed in his competition yesterday, she knew she'd win as well just like her brother.
In her hotel room, Bryce was out with Milo playing at video game stores at the malls downtown.
Elizabeth was at work at the piano and Millie was doing nothing.
Well I might as well get ready for tomorrow.
Millie faced her suitcase pulling out various dresses and skirts and tops to choose to fit for the perfect outift.
She held up various skirts and tops on herself asking the same question:
Is this me?
The usual answer:
No.
Everything Millie brought, she wasn't satisfied with any of it.
Even a hippie look she got inspired from Elizabeth to put together wasn't good enough.
Millie sighed.
Elizabeth.
She has everything.
The boyfriend, talent, beauty, charm, she's extremely mature, and really is the gifted genius everyone says.
She's perfect.
Her thoughts shifted to Bryce.
Her first and only love.
He aswell is amazing.
Loving, caring, kind, genuine, humorous, and smart.
Millie sighed.
I don't deserve him.
She does.
Millie just got up and stood in front of the mirror.
"Hey Mill- What are you doing?"
Elizabeth stood in the doorway holding a book full of sheet music.
Millie replied, " Hi Liz, just trying to get an outift together for tomorrow."
Elizabeth asked, " Why's it such a mess? Its like your doing some kind of fashion purge..."
Millie nodded replied, " The purge part was kinda unintentional. "
Elizabeth tilted her head confused.
Millie would always be excited to see her.
She'd always happily run up to her about anything.
Even to just ramble about Bryce or Milo!
But today she was different.
Elizabeth asked, " Whats the matter Mill's?"
Millie faced her said, " I'm just so jealous of you!"
Elizabeth immediately stepped in and shut the door.
She just had to listen to what she said.
Millie rambled, " Its just your so talented and gorgeous and funny and awesome and ridiculously smart and like- you know how to socialize and your amazing at everything I'm not! Like- even Bryce thinks your awesome! Like- you two are perfect for eachother! I don't deserve either of you! Its just-"
