Fifty Five | Plan In Action

I sat there in the meeting room displeased with the preposterous plan that was formed by Nova with Octavia's help. Must to my dismay, the show must go on if we want this to work. I watched as Samuel cut his hand and flicked his blood on everyone in random spots.

The idea is Tanner would be suspicious about then getting to Octavia and him with the cell keys without running into another vampire, so we thought if they had blood on them that it would make it more believable. Nova licked the blood that splattered on her lip, then smiled. Her brother started to gag, her father to shook his head, and Alpha Lucas just rolled his eyes. From their faces they don't seemed surprised overall that she had done that.

"Why am I not surprised you would do that, Nova? Stop it! I'm tired of telling you how gross things that you do are." James deadpanned.
"I've said it many of times and I'll gladly say it again. It's. Delicious." She said calmly.
"Old habits die hard. Goddess, it feels like I'm trying to train you from getting off the bottle again." James said shaking his head and turning to his son who was still looking at his sister with disgust.

I just looked between the three, then to Lucas to see him pinching the bridge of his nose. Knowing Nova already, she can be a bit.. dark sided? I had to know this story.

"Alright, Nova. Tell me the story."
"Can I just show you?" She asked causing everyone to stare at us confused.

I guess we forgot to mention the part where we all laughed at Tanner through Nova's memory from the challenge. The thought made me chuckle again. Hah! He got beaten by a girl! Then the way she angered her with her words alone? Brilliant! I looked at Nova who was laughing along with Samuel about earlier when she showed us the memory.

Everyone just shook their head in understanding. I just realized how these people she calls family and mate really don't see her for who she really is. If they did they wouldn't act so uptight about her actions. I for one don't mind how she acts, then again she was more like Samuel and I from my understanding. Dark and cold. The sooner they accept that, the better.

She walked over to me and Samuel eagerly followed. We placed our hands on her head, she close, her eyes, and then I seen where she was looking at rouged werewolf that had a girl pinned down. Nova was pissed! I could feel it just from the memory. She ran at the rouge while shifting, tackled him while throwing him over her body landing above him, ripped his heart out, took a bite out of it with a quiet moan, then she chucked it at another rouge. As soon as it ended Samuel and I looked at each other and then her. Within a second all three of us were laughing our asses off again.

"I swear! You just.. you just keep getting better and better!" Samuel laughed.
"Don't encourage her, please?" Noah exclaimed.

We all started sighing harder to the point our stomachs hurt. After we pulled ourselves together Nova breathed, pulled her shoulders back, lifted her chin then looked at every one with a determined face. Her Alpha genes were coming into play.

"Okay, so what should we do when we come across any of your people that stand in the way while sneaking Tanner out?" She asked.
"I appreciate you for bringing this up. Obviously don't kill them. Just snap their necks. They'll be out for an hour or 2, but they'll be fine." King Julien replied.

I look around at everyone then cleared my throat.

"Alright. Sounds like a plan has officially started. Okay so Lucas and my dad will go one way to "kidnap" Octavia. We have a syringe that has saline in it. We put a couple drops of sedative in it so she is out long enough for us to regroup."

Everyone agreed and made quick work after I received the keys from Sam. Noah and I walked down to the cells after snapping the necks of a couple of vamps along the way. I honestly felt kind of bad, but if any of them knew the plan, it could all go to shit. Especially if one vamp ruined it by running his mouth too loudly.
