27 | Searching Leonardo

(Selena's pov)

"Never expected you to turn like this... Selena..." My father spoke at me disappointed.

I look at him and furrow my brows. The child inside me looks at him. He shakes his head and walks away from me, I ran after him calling him, reaching my hand out.

"Dad! Dad! Why are you leaving me?! What did I do?! Please! D-" Just like that... I hear a gunshot.

Again into that same place yet now... I can see the killer's face... and its... me...

"Ah!" I jolt up from the bed and I touch my face.

I am covered with cold sweat. I walk into the bathroom and wash my face, knot my hair and brush my teeth. A moment later, I take a very deep breath and apply some light make up on my face.

I am not ready for another day like this, what if Leonardo keep rejecting me? Tomorrow is the last day and I still have... 46 hours and... 39 minutes... how am I gone make a guy who hates me here and two month fall for me in 46 hours and... 38 minutes...

Nevertheless I have no choice, its either that or Aless's and Alice's life. I won't bear loosing more people cause of me, it will make me go crazy and beside I will not be able to face Emma and Rachel and Leonardo if they find out that dear people to them died... and I'm at fault.

I take a gold strapless mini dress from the closet and match it with some high heels which had a serpent lace that I could wrap around my leg. Together with that, I put a watch on my right hand so that I could be able to watch the time, rings on my fingers.

I take one last glance at my mirror and head myself to my mission aka Leonardo Hernandez. I just hope today he is more cooperative and chill about things.

(Selena's pov)

Okay... maybe his cold attitude was bad but it was better than him NOT BEING HOME AT ALL!! What am I gone do? How am I gone make him fall for me if he ain't around?? Huh?? God! Help me!!

I started panicking and making circles around till Matteo appeared. He smiled at me and approached me.

"I don't see you with Emma at all lately." He teases.

"I checked on her before coming here." I respond trying to sound calm even if I am not even looking at him but behind him waiting for a certain someone.

"What are you looking for?" He turned to see what I am seeing but I am not seeing anything.

"Do you know where Leonardo is?" I ask him in a rush.

"No. He didn't tell me but he told me he won't come back till midnight or even more late." He replied.

Midnight?? More late?? No! Thus can't happen! If I don't see him today I'll be left with only tomorrow and if I am left with only tomorrow I may as well just shoot me and be done with it an hour before.

"We need to find him!" I exclaim.

"We do?" He questions me.

"Yes! I need to see him today!" I answer.

"Is my friendship not enough for you?" He asks.

"No! You are fine but-"

"I get it. You like him more." He cut me.
