As Xiao left the bathroom and changed into the clothes y/n left for him he couldn't help but wonder, why did she have men's clothing? Was it hers or someone else's? he snapped out of it and walked out of the room to the kitchen.

As he leaned on the door frame, he saw the girl putting different colored frostings on separate piping bags. " I'm honestly surprised you even allowed me to take a 'break' this long " the girl said not even glancing up at Xiao. 

He looked at her surprised how she even noticed he was there as she looked so busy. " how'd you know I was here? I wasn't even making any noise " Xiao said walking over to the counter sitting down infront of the girl.

 " well, I heard your footsteps. It's kinda a bad habit of mine, memorizing other people's footsteps. " she said glancing up at him. Xiao nodded, leaning on his hand watching her intently, until a plate of un-frosted cookies we're slid infront of him. 

" you're helping me decorate " y/n said giving him a grin. She took the rest of the un-frosted cookies and sat beside Xiao. " what do I even put here? " Xiao asked looking at the cookie in thought.

" I don't know just use your imagination! " she said with a smile.

As minutes passed by Xiao glanced over at the girl next over him, and he saw the colors of green, black, and yellow. As he squinted his eyes, trying to see what the girl was making she suddenly placed down the sweet treat looking at him, " stop staring at my decoration it's a surprise for later! " Xiao rolled his eyes at her chuckling lightly.

As the girl focused more on her creation Xiao seemed to stare at her longer than usual. That's when, he got an idea, he was gonna draw her. Well, I mean paint her in frosting in a cookie.

" finally done " she said putting down the treat carefully before glancing at the boy. She jumped in her seat having a mini heart attack seeing him staring back at her. " dammit Xiao don't do that! " she shouted at the smirking boy. 

" it was hard not to stare since you're so pretty " the boy, not knowing he said that aloud. " aww thank you, you're really pretty too " Xiao snapped his head towards her, only to see her face inches away from his. 

" w-what are you doing? " the boy said his cheeks burning hot. She only giggled to herself before handing cookie she was previously decorated to him. Xiao stared at it for a few seconds, subconsciously smiling. It was decorated as him.

 " guess we both had the same idea " Xiao said looking at the girl pulling pout the cookie he was also previously decorating, who had the same h/c and e/c of the girl.

The girl laughed to herself. As he stared at her longer and longer he couldn't help but crack a small smile because of her, but ofcourse he won't admit that.

Who knew the girl's smile is so infectious.
