Chapter 44

I go to push open the door when i hear it.

The giggle.

I was just about ready to go on a killing spree when i heard Sirius's voice say in a strained sort of way.

"Look I have a girlfriend-"

"Who's a worthless piece of trash, ditch her and you can be with me."

About right i am a worthless piece of trash after all, but only I can say that.

"Hey!!"

"What it's the truth!"

"Get out!!"

She then throws herself at him and tries to kiss him.

And here's when i decide it's time to enter.

The blonde immediately tried to pass it off like Sirius had come onto her.

"Summer-"

"Hush."

"Summer! Your boyfriend just came onto me-"

"Sure, get the fuck out now!!"

"But he-"

"Now!"

She doesn't move so i make a step towards her, and let's just say she doesn't stay around for long.

Bitch.

"Summer she was-"

"I know Sirius, it wasn't your fault but do me a favor?"

"Anything." 

"Go wash the bitch out your mouth."

He goes off to wash his mouth and i go up to my dorm to find Lily.

"Lily."

"Summer."

"I wan you to meet Charlie."

"Who?"

"Charlie Wilson he's my babe."

"I thought Sirius was your babe."

"Sirius is my bub."

"Okay what about everyone else?"

"Remus is my bestie, James is my bro, Peter is my buddy and you're my bitch."

"Lovely."

"Aren't i just?"

"Well where is he anyway?"

"come with me and we'll find him together."

"Alright then."

She sets down her book and we make our way down to the entrance hall to see if he's in the great hall.

Not there.

Not in the library, any of the towers and well where else is there to look really. He's been here for a day i don't think he knows about the kitchens.

So after no look we head back up to the common room hoping to find him there.

He is.

"Charlie come here."

"Why?"

"I want you to meet Lily."

He gets up leaving Remus on the sofa with Sirius.

"Gurl your hair is mm luscious."

If Lily was expecting something, it certainly wasn't this.

"Um thanks?"

"Not at all darling, I'm Charlie nice to meet you."

"You too i'm Lily."

"Lovely name."

"thank you."

"Well I've got to go babes, i'm tired and ya'll know how much i need my beauty sleep!"

He wonders off and Lily is left confused.

I didn't tell her he's gay, just so i could see how she reacted.

Worth it.

"Is he gay?"

"Extremely."

she laughs and wonders off upstairs too. Which leaves me with my boys.

"My boys how are you all?"

"How long will it take to get Evans to like me?"

"Well for starters you might want to start calling her by her actual name."

"Can you help me?"

"You're going to need a lot of help, sweet, for starters you need to deflate that ego of yours."

"Hey?!"

"You want to go out with Lily?"

"Well yeah."

"Then you will listen to what i say."

"I don't have to stop pranking slug ball do i?"

"No."

"thank lord."

We laughed it off and all went to bed soon after.

Nights like this are the best and i find myself being happier the longer i spend time with the.

"I had a thought yesterday."

"And what thought was that James dearest?"

"We've only known you for a year."

"indeed."

"And look how far we've got from then."

"Shows how much you needed me."

"And still need you."

"Nah , i was to disappear now you wouldn't need me."

"of course we would, we all would."

"You're just saying that James."

"No really-"

"But it doesn't matter because you're not going anywhere are you Summer?"

I look out over the lawn, and in the distance i see smoke coming from Hagrids chimney.

"Summer?"

"Hmm?"

"You won't go anywhere will you?"

"Not willingly."

"What does that mean."

"who knows."

Standing up, i leave them there to ponder over it,i make my way down to Hagrids carefully.

Knocking on his door i wait for him to open it.

He's surprised at first but let's me in none the less.

"So wha' can i do for you?"

"What do you know about Dragons?"

He fills my cup up with tea and we have a nice, lengthy conversation about which dragons are best.

It's past midnight by the time my head hits the pillow.
