Chapter 46

My head is banging like a drum and all i can see is darkness.

Is this death?

If so , it's dark.

Maybe i'm in hell.

Probably.

"Summer can you hear me?"

Is that Satan?

No, it sounds somewhat familiar.

The darkness is starting to fade and i can hear other things now, like footsteps and voices.

Maybe i'm not dead.

"Summer?"

Opening my eyes just a bit, i see an old man.

Dumbledore.

"Summer, are you okay?"

I go to sit up but am hit by a wave of pain in my head.

I groan and complain, while leaning over grabbing my head in my hands.

What is this hell?

"Summer what do you remember from yesterday?"

What?

"I um i introduced Lily and Charlie and went to bed?"

"When did this happen?"

"That was the day before yesterday."

"As i suspected."

I've had enough of lying  in this bed, so i stumble up almost tripping over a- i'm not too sure what it is.

My eyes aren't  adjusted and i can only describe what i'm feeling, is like having a hangover.

headache, stumbling and memory loss.

A ball of red comes near me, and i have to stop it at arms length to wait fro my eyes to focus on it.

"Lily?"

"Summer you should be in bed."

"No i want to go to the forest."

"What?"

Ignoring her question i slowly make my way to the door, but before i can exit Dumbledore shuts the door.

Wrong move old man.

Sirius POV

Last night after we heard Lily screaming for help, we all ran up to her dormitory to find her trying her hardest to hold Summer from falling out the window.

Summer was blacked out and had been acting weird all day.

Like she was possessed.

After that we took her quickly to the hospital wing and fetched Dumbledore.

Something wasn't right and i knew that as soon as her eyes went completely black after Dumbledore shut the door on her.

Me, the guys, Lily and Dumbledore quickly rushed into the safety of the office, in time to avoid a flying bed.

Summer is by the door and leaning her hands on it, she appears to be mumbling words under her breath and soon the door is melted into a lump on the floor.

"As i suspected, on top of being possessed  her powers are having a kind of upgrade."

"But surely that's dangerous?"

"Extremely i need everyone in the great hall now."  

He uses his wand to send a message to everyone in the castle a warning and everyone starts on their way to the hall.

"You six, i need you to go to the hall too."

It's Lily to step in this time.

"No! If anyone is going to get Summer back to her old self then it's going to be her friends."

Before he can reply however there's a loud clap of thunder and lightning strikes down.

"Quickly."

We all rush outside to see Summer on her way to the forest.

The water in the lake is going crazy and the ground is shaking.

The power upgrade.

The wind is picking up speed quickly and soon its hard to stand because of the sheer force.

Summer then drops to the ground, writhing in pain but the elements around her become more and more powerful.

And all we're doing is watching?

Why aren't we helping?

"Why are we just standing here!"

"Because the fire element hasn't showed yet and that's the most dangerous."

But just as we're beginning to doubt it will show, the nearest trees are up in flames and falling down much too close to Summer for comfort.

We can still see her just about and she's still.

Everything stops and calms down.

"It's safe."

Slowly, one by one, we step out into the open and make our way to her.

Her eyes are closed but she's breathing.

Thank god.

Charlie leans down and says softly.

"Summer?"

Her eyes snap open painfully quick and her eyes are still the soulless black.

"He's still there."

"Who is?"

"The dark wizard that's possessing her."

"You mean?"

he nods gravely and i look back to her tear stricken face.

Voldemort.

Then , she starts mumbling and flashes of her blue eyes start crossing her glazed eyes.

"What's she doing?"

"Fighting him off."

"Mm bastard, not having my power, you'll die, potter."

We look over to James who looks pale with fright.

Why would she say James's name?

"Horcrux, may."

She continues to mumble and even Dumbledore looks scared.

After one last mumble of 'betrayal' she opens her eyes again and I've never been so glad to see that overwhelmingly beautiful blue.

Dumbledore kneels down and says softly,

"Summer how do you feel?"

"Like someone hit me with a truck!"

A relieved laugh  sounds from us all, good old Summer making jokes after being possessed.

We all tackle her in a hug and help her up.

She looks around her and surprises everyone with the words

"Who made this mess?"

We all glance at each other.

Does she not remember?

"bad storm."

"I'll fix it!"

With an easy wave of the hand the trees vanish and new ones replace them, the scorch marks are gone and the sky is cloudless once again.

"i'm hungry."

She wonders off leaving us all behind, scared, relieved and confused.

I hope this a one time thing.
