The morning of the ceremony was weird. I couldn't quite grasp the concept that after tomorrow, i won't be a student here anymore.

It scared me. To me it was the official start of my adult life.

Looking around at everyone taking their seat, i realize that i might never see any of these people ever again.

I sit in my seat as Dumbledore calls the hall to attention.

"Today is a big day for everyone of you in this hall. Tomorrow, you will have successfully completed your seven years here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Each one of you has achieved something over those years, and i hope you keep all the memories you've made here with you for the rest of your lives."

He continues to talk and i look at the ceiling. It's clear, the odd cloud dotted around but other than that, completely blue.

He starts to call out names and i pay attention when he gets to the B's.

"Sirius Black."

He makes his way to the front of the hall and shakes hands with Albus before receiving some papers. The hall applauds and he makes his way to his seat.

A few other people are called before i'm called up.

The walk up to the front o the hall is weird. It's like every thing is quiet and i'm getting flashbacks to all my memories here.

I'm broken out of my trance when the applause rings out.

Smiling briefly, i sit back down and watch everyone else get called up.

And hour passes and soon Albus is calling for silence again.

"Now we will hear a few words from our lovely head girl, Lily Evans."

She walks up to the front of the hall, looking worried. She must not have seen that i'd completed it.

I watch her eyes widen as she scans the paper and shoot up to look for me.

She smiles gratefully and clears her throat.

"I won't talk for long, wouldn't want to bore you all with nonsense. These past seven years have really flown by-"

She continues talking, holding the eyes and ears of the room.

Most people have a glisten in there eyes by the time she finishes.

"-even though i know that i'll probably never see any of you ever again, we all have something in common. Hogwarts will always be there to welcome us home, whatever the circumstance."

The whole room stands and claps as she takes her seat.

"Thank you for those moving words. I say goodbye and good luck to all of you. Have a good life."

Everyone stands and clusters towards the doors.

This really is the end.

There's tears and laughter and hugging between people as the train pulls into nine and three quarters. I decide to just leave as everyone is engulfed by their families congratulations and love.

Must be nice.

My house is empty as Kelly is on holiday. Just me, myself and i.

As usual.

Shoving my trunk in the corner of my room, i flop onto my bed face first and let out a sigh.

It's over.

I'm an adult, i'm going to have to get a job aside from being in the order. Which isn't really a job as such.

I wander what the others will do.

Charlie and Xeno want to be together but not right after graduation.

James and Lily will move in together sooner than later and Sirius will come to me.

What about Remus and Peter?

Where will they go?

I think they'll stay with their parents for a while.

Then what?

Will they get married and have kids? Have jobs and their own houses?

It's all so strange, it feels like only yesterday we were under the invisibility cloak on a prank night.

Those were the easy times.

No it's death and adult stuff.

Great.

Sirius joins me about three weeks after that day. He surprises me by not telling me and turning up on his bike.

Scared the crap out of me when i turned around to find him watching me clean the dishes.

He laughed and dodged my hex i sent at him.

"You jerk! Don't just turn up out the blue like that!"

"You were so scared!"

"Of course i was, it's not everyday i get a creeper staring at me!"

"Well if you weren't so cute you wouldn't get stared at."

"I'm not cute! I'ma fierce fire demon. Fear me!"

"You're a cute muffin nut that's sweet as strawberries."

"Hear me roar!"

"Shh your sweetness will escape."

"Grrr."

He hugs me as i continue with the dishes.

Feels kinda weird, but a good weird.

"I promised that i'd join Mom and James on Sundays for a roast dinner. You don't mind do you"

"Of course not."

He sighs into my neck and i can feel him smiling.

"I missed you. You disappeared as soon as we got of the train and i didn't get to kiss you goodbye."

"Diddums."

"Shut up! I was worried i'd done something wrong."

"What makes you think that?"

"You were distant the last few weeks."

"I didn't feel right to join in the talk of the memories. I was only there for four of the seven years."

"you were still there though."

"I didn't feel right."

"Charlie was there for three years and he was fine."

"That's Charlie. He's fine with everything."

"He wasn't fine seeing you being distant."

"I think i got on his nerves anyway with me always trying to protect him."

"He loves you too much to be angry at you for long though."

"I know."

"Who know who else loves you?"

"Who?"

"Me."

his leaves a trail of kisses up my neck before pulling away and going to the door.

"Well i best leave you to your cleaning. Wouldn't want to distract you."

He has the nerve to wink before leaving.

What. A. Jerk.

Come on Summer, these dishes need cleaning.

You do have a dishwasher.

But..

Are you denying The Sirius Black?

No..

DO IT!

You know what maybe these dishes can wait for a bit longer.

I dry my hands and follow him.

I'll leave the cleaning for when Kelly gets back because i doubt any cleaning by me will be done while he's here.

Oh well.
