The new marauder

Chapter 69

I drop down onto the compartment seat and close my eyes to try and catch up on the lost sleep. I've been obsessed with the diaries and trying to think of who could have killed them.

I dose off before anyone joins me.

I jolt awake as a loud bang sounds through the small compartment.

I'm curled up on someones lap. Looking up i see Sirius smiling down at me.

"Sorry to wake you love."

I look around to see James sat on the floor, Lily, Charlie and Xenophilius opposite me and Remus and Peter next to Sirius.

"What's going on?"

"Someone's dueling in the corridor i think."

"Oh. Who?"

"Don't know."

I get up and stretch, yawning widely.

"Where you going?"

"I gotta go pee."

"Don't be too long, we'll be there soon."

"Right."

"I walk out, rubbing my eyes and yawning again.

The people who were dueling must have left, because no one's in the corridor.

After doing my business, i shuffle back to the compartment.

I look up from my feet as i walked in to someone.

"Sorry."

"No, i'm sorry!"

"Regulus?"

"Oh hey Summer, how was your summer?"

"Yeah it was good, what about you?"

"Boring, nothing to do at home. Sirius is always in his room, and i don't have any other siblings. Only so much Bellatrix you can out up with."

"Ugh, i feel sorry for you. Me and Bellatrix never saw eye to eye see."

"I know, i saw you dueling that one time."

"Shouldn't have done that."

"She deserved it though."

"No one deserves me on a bad day."

"Well, anyway, i heard Sirius saying you went to a load of muggle Theme Parks?"

"Yeah it was great, loads of fun!"

"Good, well i have to go."

"Okay, oh it wasn't you dueling was it?"

"Oh no! It was some older Slytherins."

"Oh, okay. bye!"

"See you around."

I pass him and carry on to my compartment. Sliding the door open, i reach into my pocket for my phone. Half an hour till we  arrive.

"What kept you?"

"Ran into Regulus. Literally."

"Don't see why you like him."

"He's nice."

"He's annoying."

"Sometimes perhaps."

Charlie pipes up from my left.

"Don't mind Sirius, he;s just sacred you'll leave him for his brother!"

"No i'm not!"

"You so are!"
