Cordelia

Today is finally Friday and it will finally be the last hour. And Im with Olivia, too. Finally.

"Hey, I have to go to the locker to get my textbook, will you come with me?" Olivia asked me.

"I don't have a textbook either, so meet me at your locker." Unfortunately we don't have lockers near each other, but then again we don't have them far apart either.

"Okay, at my locker." Olivia said and walked towards her locker.  I walked towards my locker.

I was about to get my textbook out when something fell out at me. It was an envelope and it had my name on it.  How could it have gotten into the school? I must have looked at the envelope for too long.

"Cori? What are you doing there? Come on, we gotta go." I took the envelope and quickly put it in my bag, grabbed my textbook and followed Olivia.

"What took you so long in there?" Olivia asked me.

"Nothing, I couldn't find it." Luckily Olivia didn't say anything else.

Together we went to class and sat through the entire class with Mr. Smith.

---

Finally. Weekend.

Although the whole week has been very strange. Everyone was acting weird, they were often angry, and I often saw alcohol at dinner. And I don't have a good experience with alcohol.

And I, along with Aiden, Liam, and Xavier are going home, and of course we're going to take Xavier home.

"How's Landon?" Aiden asked. I honestly hadn't seen Landon in a long time. The last time he picked me up he was in a very bad mood.

"He's in a bad mood, he's unbearable. He breaks everything and he's always yelling at us." Xavier replied. He what?

"What happened?" I asked him. Xavier became nervous.

"Oh nothing, he's just having bad days." Xavier replied. Everyone has bad days sometimes.

"Oh, I'm sorry. He was pretty upset when he picked me up on Monday."

"And he didn't do anything to you?" Aiden asked me.

"No, no. He didn't do anything to me." I said. The boys looked at each other interestingly, as if they were communicating with their eyes.

"He didn't even raise his voice at you?" Xavier asked me.

"No? He didn't raise his voice at me." I said it rather uncertainly after the silent stares.

"Sir Xavier, we're here." The driver said.

"See you guys, bye Cori!" Xavier said and got out of the car.

Something doesn't feel right here, but then everyone has bad days sometimes.

----- 4 hours later -----

It's now 8pm and everyone is already getting ready for the meeting and Kai and Seth are staying with me.

"Here we go, are you sure you don't want to call Samantha here too?" Alexander asked me.

"I'm sure, I can handle it."

"Cori, are we going to play?" Seth asked me.

I'd say they were going to bed at 9pm.

Vincents POV

Today is a pretty fateful day. I don't see why Landon would be the one to marry someone. Landon is the most cold-hearted person I know.

I honestly can't see Landon in a relationship. He hates people, he only hangs out with us because we've known each other since we were kids and we grew up together.

I also wonder how he treats Cordelia. He seems to me to be treating her nicely for the kind of person he is.

I've been thinking about this the whole way.

"Vincent, we're here." Dad said.

We walked into the room where everyone was already. Both the Scallets and the Whites.

Whites are the ones who want Landon to get married.

Even though Landon doesn't have to marry her because there's no deed to prove it, his dad wants him to settle down and have kids already.

As soon as we entered the room, I saw Britney White almost on Landon's lap. Landon had a murderous look on his face.

Landon's only 20, he's about to turn 21, and Leo already wants him to get married?

"Welcome, come sit down." Leo greeted us and we sat down. We sat in the living room.

Mr. White stood up and greeted us. "Thank you for letting us come here, and for letting us make a deal like this." Honestly, I don't like Mr. White at all. He seems fake to me.

"We thank you for allowing us to make a deal with you like this." Leo said.

"Now, I would be very happy if Landon would marry our daughter Britney. We could get a house for them nearby." Mr. White said. Did he really think Landon would marry her? Landon will never marry her. Britney is a whore who sleeps with someone else every night.

"I'm not marrying her." Landon said. I don't blame him at all.

"Landon, you should settle down and live your life with someone." Mr. White said. This just pissed Landon off more.

"I'm 20 years old, I'm not marrying anyone." Landon said quite calmly.

"Anyway, Britney is a beautiful girl and you deserve her." Mr. White told him and Britney pouted at Landon even more.

Landon suddenly stood up quickly and walked towards the door.

"Landon! What are you doing? Come back!" Leo yelled at him.

I started to get up too, realizing he was going to leave and it would probably be better if someone went with him, but Dad sat me back down. "Let it go, he needs to get that through his head. I feel sorry for him too." He whispered to me.

Landon, please don't do anything stupid.

Landons POV

I'm not marrying her.

I looked for Cordelia as soon as Alexander and the boys got here, but she wasn't here.

She probably doesn't know we're in mafia yet.

But I need to see her. I've been looking forward to seeing her all week and she's not here.

But it's not her fault.

She's the only reason I'm here. I should have known she wouldn't come.

But I need to see her.
