|54| Not again part. 2

Landons POV

"H-he t-t-touched me." Cori let out those words and I think my heart broke.

That man is going to be dead. I'm definitely not gonna let this go.

"Who? Who touched you?" I asked Cori in a soft voice to get her to tell me who it was.

"T-they ripped off my clothes. T-they touched m-m-me." Said a very flushed Cori. I have her pressed firmly against my chest where she is crying. It breaks my heart to see her like this. I'm gonna kill him. But I need a name.

"Cori, I'll handle this, but I need his name." I tried to calm Cori down enough to get her to give me a name. And if she doesn't know it, we'll go to the school and look at the cameras.

"J-jacob. And-and the d-don't know who t-the other w-was." What?

"There were two of them?" I didn't mean to scare Cori like that, but I don't understand why the sadness is still clinging to her.

Cori started crying a little harder again, and it's really breaking my heart. I've never been much of a pussy, but I'll do anything for Cori.

"Shhhh." I tried to calm her down, but nothing worked. Poor Cori is shaking all over, so I'm thinking of giving her some kind of sedative. To calm her down, preferably to get her some sleep, because I doubt she'll sleep at night. "Cori, I'll be right back, okay? Can you make it through this without me here? I promise I'll be back in two minutes." I promised her.

As soon as Cori shook her head yes, I got up and went to Alexander's office.

But before I did, I gave Cori my clothes to change into. Maybe she'll feel a little better.

"Xander? Can I give Cori some sedatives? Cori cries and shakes all the time. I need to calm her down somehow-" I tried to explain, but Xander seemed to get it.

"Did she tell you who it was?" Xander asked, handing me a small pill.

"She said it was Jacob, and that there was someone else, but she didn't know who it was. Maybe when she gets some sleep and calms down I'll know more." I defended.

"We'll go to the school and ask about the surveillance footage. Xavier saw one because he was supposedly running right behind Cori. But if he'd seen it, he'd have recognized it."

"I'd go with you, but I'll get back at him. Bring him down to the basement and I'll play with him. Now I really must stay with Cori." I said and turned to go back to Cori because I said I'd be right back, but Xander stopped me again.

"Landon, I'm proud of you for even managing to change because of a woman. I'm honestly glad you're with Cori. I wish you both the best."

"Thank you. I have to go now because I told Cori I'd be right back. So let me know if they're in the basement yet." I said to Xander and went to Cori.

As soon as I arrived, I found her just as I left her. But she's already changed. I went over and hugged her, letting her know she wasn't alone.

"Here, Cori, this will calm you down a bit and make you feel a lot better." I told her, and Cori took the pill and put it in her mouth. I handed her a cup of water and Cori swallowed the pill.

"Landon, I'm afraid they're gonna do something to me." Cori said. She doesn't have to worry about that. From now on, she'll have a bodyguard at school.

"You don't have to worry about that. I'll make sure you have a bodyguard at school, okay? You really don't have to worry about that anymore. You're not on your own." I tried to calm her down, so I laid down next to her and Cori laid on top of me.
