It's really hot outside today and dad said he was going to call someone to clean our pool. That was a week ago, and today the pool is clean, so today the whole family is going to the pool.
Dad and Landon gave me money yesterday to take Kai and Seth to the store to buy some water toys and especially some floaties.
Landon also told me to buy some nice swimsuits. Just thinking about Landon makes me blush. But I've decided that I'm really gonna buy a nice new swimsuit. And I especially want to buy a floatie.
I picked out a gorgeous bloody red swimsuit. It's a little bold, but it's not too bad. It's a two-piece swimsuit, so you can see my whole stomach. But I hear Landon's gonna be at the pool, so I don't mind it so much. I don't even know if I'm going to the pool, because I can't swim and I'm scared of the water. I think I'll just sunbathe.
Seth and Kai bought different toys, and I bought a floatie, that looks like a bed, and we bought things that other people might like. After all, the pool is huge.
At least we drove here and we had a bodyguard with us to help me with the tasks.
We're about to go to the pool, I can even hear someone, but I'm waiting for Landon, or rather he's waiting for me. He's just inflating my floatie with a little machine. I bet Shadow's always jumping in because I keep hearing Landon say his name.
"I'm here." I came out of the bathroom and Landon immediately looked at me. "How do you like this swimsuit?" I asked him with a smile on my face. I'm proud of myself for being so ashamed of my body.
"Cori, you look beautiful." Landon replied in such a nice voice. He wouldn't stop looking at me. I just smiled at him. I was honestly blushing.
"Come on, let's get in the pool." I had to cover it up with something, because I had to look like a tomato.
Landon took the lounge chair from me and we went to the pool together. Shadow was waddling behind us.
"Landon, but I'm afraid of the water. I'm afraid I'm gonna drown." I told him honestly. Water really scares me.
"You can't swim?" He asked, but I could sense he was just trying to calm me down. I shook my head at him, saying I couldn't swim. "Never mind, I'll teach you how to swim. Besides, the water isn't that deep at the beginning, so if you're somewhere near the beginning where Seth and Kai are, you'll be able to reach the ground. And I'll be right there with you, but I'd love to teach you how to swim sometime." Landon replied. I'm glad he's so close to me.
"Well, you've finally arrived." I heard someone say. It was dad.
Landon came around the pool with me to the side where the water level is lower. Landon threw the lounger in and gently took my hand and slowly walked me into the pool, but I stood still on dry land. Landon noticed this and so he turned to me, took both my hands and slowly led me into the water.
"Landon? Can you help me get up on the lounger, please? Just hold it for me." I asked him. Because the water isn't that high, but that's only for Landon because I'm extremely short compared to Landon. I can't climb up on the chaise and I'm afraid to jump on it lest I start drowning.
I expected the water to be extremely cold, but it's quite nice. It's really hot outside, so the water is really refreshing. Still, I'd rather be on that lounger. I just hope nobody throws me off it.
Landon moved me to climb up on the chaise, so I'm lying down. I could last all day like this.
I just laid there for a while before Landon came over. He was with me the whole time, but he kept drifting off and then he came back."Cori, put some sunscreen on so you don't burn." Landon came over and handed me the sunscreen. It's nice of him to want me to put it on so I don't burn.
"Thank you." I lathered up and thanked him for thinking of me there. I even closed my eyes for a moment.
I continued to lie there until I felt someone jump up on the couch next to me. I was frightened.
"Aaahhh!" I screamed, even though I didn't fall off the chaise, I was really on the edge. I almost fell.
But I immediately saw Seth jump to me, and if I'd been a little closer to the edge, Kai would have jumped too. You can tell he's about to jump, too.
But since I was falling off the chaise, I tried to get back up, but Seth tried to throw me off. Of course, I'm not mad at him, he's just playing, but I'm in deeper water and I'm afraid I won't reach the ground.
The shock only came when I felt strong hands grab my body and someone took me bridal style. Of course it was Landon. Who else was it? I was just scared.
"Hi." I said and started to laugh. Landon smiled too. I just now noticed his hair was wet. He's so hot.
But the guys took my floatie. But there's this big circle.
"Landon? Can you help me into that circle over there?" I asked him.
Landon swam with me to the circle and helped me into it. It's so nice of him.
----- 3 hours later -----
It was fun in the water, but I'm getting hungry, but we're going to take a shower before we go eat some food.
I've already showered and now Landon's coming, so I lay down on his bed and started thinking.
It's unbelievable what's happened in the last almost a year. It couldn't have gone any better, I have to admit.
I have a loving family that I've always wanted. I even have a boyfriend now. I'm grateful for everything I have.
That's the main thing. I'm happy.
