Chapter 18: Together Again

Kokichi looked up at Shuichi, cupping Shuichi's cheek.

"I'm so glad we made up.." Made up? Yeah right. They could never make up, Shuichi simply just needed Kokichi to get what he wants. Shuichi looked down, seeing Kokichi leaning in for a kiss.

"Not so fast~" Shuichi chuckled, he pressed his finger against Kokichi's lip.

"I need a favor first." Shuichi played with Kokichi's hair, seeing the blush arise on the boy's face was a good sign.

"Yes Shuichi! Anything for you." Kokichi would forever be in Shuichi's servitude.

"You know Keebo.." Shuichi said slowly.

"Yeah.."

"When he's eating.. preferable when he gets hungry and goes alone, put this in his food." Shuichi handed Kokichi a bag of crushed pills. Kokichi's eyes grew wide, looking up at Shuichi.

"W-What..no-"

"Shhh~ Sweetheart please.. don't you love me?" It didn't take Kokichi much to give in. He stuffed the bag of pills into his pocket.

"Okay.. I'll do it. But why? Are you gonna-"

"My love! I'm not gonna kill Keebo, why would I ever do such a thing?" Shuichi chuckled, twirling Kokichi's hair.

"I'm just gonna put him to sleep, okay? He probably won't get any sleep tonight because he's so scared.." It was such an obvious lie. It didn't make any sense at all, but Shuichi knew it would work. Because to Kokichi, Shuichi's word is gospel.

"Oh right.. I'm so dumb, that's very nice of you Shuichi."

"Thank you Kokichi!" Shuichi smiled brightly, perfectly, while Kokichi is doing that he could work on his other machine, and getting Angie into the right place.

Shuichi noticed Kokichi started leaning in for a kiss again. Oh right, that's what he was doing this all for. A kiss, one ounce of affection from Shuichi. It would be gross but.. Shuichi had to do what he had to do.

He slowly kissed Kokichi, wrapping his arms around him. It didn't feel nice, but it didn't feel bad.

He just felt nothing, it was like kissing a wall. Shuichi could feel Kokichi's arms around his neck, he could feel how close he was. But it meant nothing.

Kokichi pulled away, he was blushing like crazy and Shuichi could swear his pupils were hearts.

"Can you say it?" Kokichi ask, now twirling his hair with his own finger like a thirteen old girl.

"Say what?"

"You know."

Ohhh, he wants him to say I love you.

"I love you Kokichi." Shuichi whispered softly, Kokichi's eyes lit up, squeezing the life out of Shuichi.

"Oh Shuichi I love you too! I love you too! We'll be together forever okay? You'll be mine forever!" All Shuichi could do what nod. He would say he felt bad, manipulating someone so love sick as Kokichi. But he didn't really, in fact, he felt great.

SOMETHING TO NOTE: I've seen this in a lot of books that make Shuichi and Kokichi have this kind of dynamic. I just want to make clear that Shuichi won't beat or do other weird things if Kokichi doesn't listen to him. Just so you know!
