"Are you sure about this?" I asked, turning to Kelly.

"As long as Castiel is here, I know it will be okay."

"Alright, well, if this does work out how you believe it will, my offer still stands. I want to help you have your son."

"Thank you, Ellie."

We all got out of the Impala, Kelly and Cass heading over to the sandbox while I hung back. As I watched, another angel, Joshua, showed up. I couldn't hear what was being said, but my eyes widened as a moment later, Joshua was killed by Dagon. Before I could move to help, I watched as Cass moved to guard Kelly from the demon. She grabbed Cass by the throat, lifting him into the air and choking him.

Again, before I could move to help, there was the rev of an engine and Sam and Dean pulled up in Cass's truck. Ignoring me for now, Sam shot at Dagon a few times with his gun. When he went to reload, Dagon threw him using her powers. Dean took aim with the Colt and Dagon teleported behind him, breaking his arm.

"Gah!" he grunted.

"Yeah. Time to take this off the board," Dagon growled.

Her eyes glowed as the Colt melted in her hand.

"No!" Dean cried out.

"Okay. Who wants ice cream?" the demon quipped, dropping the melted pieces of the gun to the ground.

I started to move toward Dagon, raising my hand to use my powers, but she flung me to the side and advanced toward Castiel, who was holding hands with Kelly.

"Aw, adorbs," Dagon smirked.

Light surged from Kelly to Cass, both of their eyes glowing with a golden light.

"Cass!" Sam and I chorused.

"No!" Dean yelled.

Dagon went to smite Cass, but he blocked her power.

"How-?" she asked.

"Call it a miracle," Cass replied.

He grabbed the demon, setting her on fire. Sam helped me to my feet before helping Dean up as well and we walked over to where Cass and Kelly were standing, eyes no longer glowing.

"Cass?" Sam asked. "What was that?"

"It was, um, it was me. But it was also..." he looked over at Kelly, then saw how Dean was babying his broken arm. "You're hurt."

He held out a hand, healing Dean's arm.

"Thank you for coming to fight for us."

"Are you okay?" Dean asked.

"I am. I've been so lost. I'm not lost anymore. And I know this child must be born with all of his power."

"You can't actually mean that," Sam protested as I smiled.

"Yes. I do. I have faith. We have to go."

"Hey, Cass, wait a second. Wait, hold on. Just-"

"You have to just trust me."

"No, no, no, wait," Dean shook his head. "Okay, whatever that thing did to you, we're not gonna let you walk away. Ellie, tell him."

"I wanna go with you," I said, staring from Cass to Kelly. "I wanna help."

"Ellie!" Dean stared at me in disbelief.

Cass looked to Kelly for confirmation and she nodded her head.

"Alright," Cass nodded at me.

"Cass. Ellie, no," Dean continued to protest.

"We can't let you guys do this," Sam chimed in.

"Yes, you can," Cass said, placing his fingers to Sam's forehead.

He crumpled to the ground, knocked unconscious.

"Don't," Dean shook his head, trying to escape getting knocked out as well.

Cass ignored him, placing his fingers to his forehead. I followed him and Kelly over to the truck, climbing into the back.

"What did he tell you?" Kelly asked.

"He didn't tell me," Cass replied. "He showed me. The future."

"Ellie, you should go back."

"I said I want to help, and I meant that, Cass."

"Dean is already mad enough at you, there's no reason to make him even more angry."

"Yeah, pretty sure we crossed that line when I left with you and Kelly," I pointed out.

Cass sighed, looking over at where Kelly was sitting in the truck reading a maternity book.

"I just think you would be of more use back home with Sam and Dean. And your own children."

"Cass-"

Before I could continue, my phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out, seeing several old missed messages from Dean and one new one from my mom.

"Hang on."

I ignored the messages from Dean, listening to the one from my mom. It was short, but made my heart drop in my chest.

"Ellie, call me. We have a problem."

I swallowed, hanging up.

"What is it?"

"My mom. Something's wrong."

"Go," Cass urged me. "Kelly and I will be fine. If it will make you feel better, text me whenever you take care of whatever it is and I will let you know where we are."

I hesitated, but finally relented when I considered the cryptic message and my mom's tone in it.

"Fine. Stay safe, alright?"

"You too."

I looked over, seeing Kelly glance out at Cass and me. I waved at her and she waved back. Nodding at Cass, I headed down the street, looking for an inconspicuous car I could hijack to go after my mom. After getting in one, I tried calling her, but it went straight to voicemail. More worried than before, I worked on hotwiring the vehicle and started to the motel where she stayed when she wasn't bunking with the Brits.

As I drove, I dialed Sam, not wanting to deal with an angry Dean.

"Ellie, what the hell?"

"Hello to you, too, Samuel."

"How could you go with them?"

"I wanted to help, Sam. Whatever. That's not why I called."

"What is it?" Sam asked, tone changing as he heard the worry in my voice.

"My mom called and left a message," I explained, swallowing hard. "Said we had a problem. She's not picking up now, and so I'm heading to the motel she stays at when she's not with the Brits. Could... could you meet me there? I'm really worried."

"Yeah, of course. But you know Dean's going to ask me about where I'm going."

"Tell him. I don't care. I'll text you the room number."

"Alright," he replied. "Try and take some deep breaths, Ellie. Everything will be okay. We'll figure it out, I promise."

"Yeah. Yeah, okay. See you there."

"See ya."

I hung up, throwing the phone on the seat beside me and white knuckling the steering wheel as I took a few deep breaths.
