Season 2| Chapter 4

A/N: This chapter is a bit longer than the others (2500+ words)

The King of Clubs.

That's where we were heading now with the car.

After driving down many empty roads, we arrive at the harbor that has the aircraft of the King of Clubs flying above it.

We all exit the car, looking up at it and after more examining, I notice that there are a lot of shipping containers around.

The five of us stand in front of them, and I look at Kuina, who is next to me.

She turns her head to me, raising an eyebrow and nodding her head to the containers.

I shrug, not really knowing whether we should actually enter or not.

"What's that?" I hear Usagi ask, and my eyes go to what she was pointing at.

A table with some sort of wristbands.

Our group approaches the small table, and now I can see that there are exactly five on the table, but it seems as if one was already missing.

A sign above it read:

No weapons allowed

I look down at the sign on the table behind the wristbands.

Participants: 6 Players

Please put on bracelets and wait

My brows knit together, and I look at the others, confused.

Kuina also looks unsure.

"It says we need six players." She says.

"But there's only five" Usagi remarks.

"That means someone's already taken o-" I start, but get cut off by a voice behind me.

"Six actually" The voice says.

I turn around and my eyes immediately widen.

"Niragi" I whisper as he stares straight at me.

How is he still alive?

Didn't Aguni kill him?

But his skin is burned, and his face is messed up.

He looks even crazier now with his shirt tied to his head and bandages wrapped loosely around his chest and torso while wearing a loose jacket on top.

He smirks at me and I feel my blood run cold.

"It's been a while" He says, looking me up and down.

I start feeling uncomfortable with my outfit from the way he was looking at me.

I try to cover up my legs a bit, making him chuckle.

Asshole.

I feel Kuina's hand on my shoulder and her eyes are asking if I'm alright.

I nod slowly and turn back to Niragi.

"What? You're still alive?" Cap guy asks loudly.

Niragi just keeps on smirking.

Kuina shakes her head.

"Team up with him? I don't think so" She tells the others.

"Yeah, he'll sabotage us for sure" Cap guy stutters out.

"I bet he's already got a plan to screw us over"

I take a deep breath and look at Arisu.

"Please, we can't team up with him. You know what he did..." I slightly beg Arisu.
