Takemichi fumbled with his phone at his desk, ignoring the fact class was over after the bell chimed a while ago. His lip was pursed in frustration and his eyebrow scrunched in annoyance as he clicked the buttons with letters before sending out repeated messages after every few minutes. Staring at his phone blankly for the next minute, he groaned and leaned down seeing no response, accidentally hitting his head on the desk in his frustration.

He sat up wordlessly and rubbed his forehead just as the door to the classroom slid open loudly.

"Takemichi! We heard the news!"

He looked up in surprise to see Takuya, Makoto, Akkun, and Yamagishi walking in with various looks of excitement.

"So you and [ Name ] are a part of Toman now, huh?" Akkun asked, ruffling around his magenta hair as he walked over to the desk Takemichi was sitting at.

Takemichi's eyes widened at the sight of him, remembering how in the future he had taken his own life in front of him. "Akkun..."

He shook away those thoughts as the rest gathered around, curiously looking beside him and surprised to see the seat empty.

"Where is she anyways, she's always sticking by your side," Yamagishi asked. He pushed his glasses up further on his face and looked around once again— finding no sight of her school bag or anything.

At the reminder, Takemichi sat back up straighter and went back to furiously texting his phone. He scrunched his nose up in annoyance as he spoke out loud.

"Jeez-- I gave her my old phone, the least she could do is use it!" He frustratingly mumbled through grit teeth as he sent an influx of messages.

"Well, we'll have to start the meeting without her," Akkun said with a shrug, though he was just as disappointed as the rest of them since she was basically an extended member of their little group at this point.

Makoto was quick to complain, whining as he begged, "Aww! Try a little more, I wanna see her!"

Takuya shook his head, sending over a disappointed look at Makoto before taking Takemichi's phone out of his hand. "Give it a rest. She probably has you muted because you're spamming her phone."

[ Name ] handed Hina a water bottle, the girl taking it from her with a small 'thank you'. She unscrewed the cap before chugging it down, a sigh of relief escaping her lips before she swiped at her mouth with her arm. It was quiet between the two, the sounds of birds chirping and leaves dancing in the wind filling the silence.

They both sat on the bench, Hina's hands flat beside her as she leaned back and looked up at the clouds. She would break the silence as a puff of air fell out of her mouth, a look of frustration morphing her features.

"I just can't seem to keep up with you... I'm getting nowhere. Maybe I'm just not meant for this..."she complained.

[ Name ] was quick to snap her head over to Hina and show a genuine look of surprise. She shook her head rapidly and put her hand gently atop of hers.

"Getting nowhere? Personally, I believe I've seen a huge improvement from when you first started. You can't get strong in just the span of a month, Hina."

With bright eyes and a large smile gracing her face, Hina quickly turned towards [ Name ], who was already looking at her.

"Are you serious?"

[ Name ] huffed lightly in amusement before she nodded her head.

"Absolutely. I'm certain you could even take Takemichi in a fight if it came down to it."
