"hey, loser," you spoke while wrapping your arm around joshua from behind. he looked at you and chuckled.

"sup?" he spoke back and put down the pen in his hand. you noticed a small doodle on a piece of paper. "what are you doing here?" he asked you.

you pointed at the computer screen in front of him. your finger landed on your name under a time slot and a specific artist.

"oh, that's right. you came to finish that piece, yea?" joshua asked you.

"mhm," you hummed and stood up straight. "after this session, it should be done," you mentioned.

you heard the front door open and glanced over to see a customer walk in with vernon right behind.

"finally. what took you so long?" joshua asked while vernon walked behind the counter.

"guess everyone else wanted mcdonald's today," vernon replied. "hey, y/n," he smiled at you.

"hi," you replied.

joshua helped out the customer who walked in while you stole a few french fries from vernon's container.

after a few minutes, you heard your name called.

"y/n?"

you looked over and saw woozi walking into the main room.

"hi," you smiled and took one last french fry before walking over to him. you ate the fry as woozi took his phone out.

"i think it'll take five hours to finish today," he mentioned. "ready to go?" he asked, looking away from his phone and at you.

you nodded, "yup."

-

almost four hours had passed, and you wanted to die because of where woozi was tattooing.

"need another break?" you heard woozi ask you.

"i'm fine," you replied.

"hang on, let me get you some water," he said to you. you looked over and watched him roll away on the stool. he opened the door to his studio and yelled, "can someone bring some water for y/n?" he requested before rolling back over. "let's take a small break," he said to you. you nodded your head.

"how's it looking?" you asked him.

"pretty good to me," he replied, scooting over to be in front of you. "feeling okay?" he asked.

"i'm alright," you replied.

"here's some water!" you heard dino yell. "woah, this piece looks good, hyung," he complimented woozi.

"thanks," woozi said and handed you the cup of water. you drank some water and held the cup in your hand while taking your break. "is s.coups still out?" he asked dino.

"yea, he won't be done until jun finishes that piece. i think the8 is over there too," dino answered, mentioning some of their friends that you knew just from coming in and out of the parlor a lot.

"okay, cool. now get out. gotta finish this up," woozi suddenly instructed.

"don't need to so rude about it," dino mumbled before you heard someone get hit, "ow!"

once dino left, woozi continued tattooing your back once you were ready to continue again. you two had some small talk to help keep your mind off of the pain. luckily for you, woozi didn't have much left to finish.

"how did you even convince me to do this?" you asked woozi at one point.

"i have no idea, but you agreed to this," he replied. "i'm surprised you wanted another one."

"i wanted my first tattoo to be a back one, but i was scared," you replied.

"didn't the other one hurt a lot too though?" he asked, mentioning your only other tattoo that was on your arm.

"for me, yea, so i guess it doesn't matter," you replied.

woozi chuckled, "they say that once you get a tattoo, you can't stop getting more," he mentioned.

"okay, but my case is a little different," you said to him and then remembered something, "but you only have one tattoo, that doesn't apply to you," you said to him, mentioning his tattoo that you had never seen but knew it was on his leg.

"guess you're right about that," he said to you. "okay, we're done," he said, turning the machine off.

"already?" you immediately questioned. "thank god..." you muttered out loud.

he chuckled again, "yea. wanna see it?" he asked.

you nodded. woozi grabbed a towel for you to hold in front of your chest. he turned around so you could stand up, and you used the mirror on the wall to take a look at the gorgeous tattoo on your back.

"woah."

"told ya i was good at my job," he said to you.

"kind of knew that after the first tattoo," you said to him.

"hey."

"huh?" you looked at him, he had slightly looked back at you. you nodded your head, gesturing that it was okay for him to turn around. he did so.

"what?" you asked him, glancing over to look at the tattoo through the mirror again.

"wanna get a bite to eat?" he asked.

you looked back at him but quickly looked away.

"unless if you don't want to. it's okay if you don't want to," he said.

"can i put on a shirt first at least?"

both of you started laughing.

"how about i put the clear wrap on your back, and then you put your shirt on, and then we go out to eat?" he asked, exaggerating the sequence of events.

you smiled, "yea. okay."
