the line answered and you heard a familiar voice speak. "yea?" woozi answered.

"how much would i have to convince you to let me stay at your place tonight?" you immediately asked him.

you were currently sitting in your car, hoping that your boyfriend would be at his apartment.

"not a lot, but i'm not home, baby. i'm working on stuff," he mentioned.

"damn," you mumbled. "are you going to be home soon?" you asked.

he huffed out a sigh, "no. probably not," he answered. "come to the company building, and i'll give you my key."

"but last time that happened, i didn't wake up when you called," you said to him, recalling the last time you had taken his key from him to sleep at his place.

"i can sleep here if anything. just come here, okay?" he said to you.

"okay," you replied. you drove out of your parking lot and started driving towards hybe.

"so, what's broken in your apartment this time?" woozi asked you.

"water leaked from the floor above so they have to tear into part of my ceiling to fix something," you explained. "i already moved stuff out of the way, so everything's everywhere, and the heat's barely working still."

"you need to just move out of that place. your landlord sucks and the building is literally in shambles," woozi responded. you could hear him clicking and typing every once in a while. "just move in with me already," he suggested.

"i wish i could, babe, but the rent is too much for me, even if i pay for half," you said to him.

"i'm already paying for it. you wouldn't need to pay me at all," woozi replied to you. "as much of a deal your place is on price, it's not good if there's constantly problems happening."

you sighed, "i know. you're right," you said to him. "i'll think about it some more."

"are you almost here?" he asked, changing the subject.

"yea. just a couple of minutes," you replied.

"okay, let me work on this beat. i'll see you in a few," he said to you.

"okay. see ya."

you made it to the company building and parked your car in the garage. then, you went upstairs and made it to woozi's studio. you knocked on the door before opening it. woozi peeked his head into the doorway and smiled when he saw you.

"hi."

"it's so late. why did you call so late?" he asked you.

"i thought i could handle the cold, but i just couldn't sleep after all," you explained as you walked in, closing the door behind you.

"come here," he said, beckoning you to him. you walked up to him, and he hugged you tight. "you okay?" he asked.

you nodded, "yea."

"here, take these," woozi said, reaching over for his keys. he grabbed them off of his desk and took his house key off of the key ring. he handed you the key, which you held tightly to ensure you wouldn't lose it.

"can't you come with me?" you asked with a pout.

he kissed you. "i have to work," he claimed.

you hugged him tightly and hid your face in his chest. "no you don't. you can just come home with me," you said, sounding a little bit muffled. woozi hugged you tight, and you felt him kiss your cheek.

"sorry, baby," he apologized, which meant that you got your answer. "i'll call you when i'm done, okay? if you don't answer, then i'll sleep here. it's fine."

you sighed, "okay. i'll do my best to wake up."

woozi smiled at you as you stood up straight.

"drive safe, okay?" he said to you. you nodded with a hum.

"don't stay up too late," you said to him.

"you know this is my prime work hour," he said with a chuckle.

"and you know this is my prime sleep hour," you replied to him with a chuckle. "okay, i'll see you later," you said to him, "and i better wake up with you by my side."

"well, you're going to have to wake up to let me inside before you can wake up to me beside you," woozi said, making you roll your eyes while he chuckled. "love you."

"love you," you said, kissing him before heading out.
