"Ah so he's awake" Max says patting Ray on the shoulders, he glances up signing to all of us.

We all chuckle but Lev stands there a little confused.

"He thinks Himiko is the sweetest" Max translates only for Ray to pounce on him.

"Yeah I'm sure he loves her" she shakes her head with a sly grin.

"Ray head down for breakfast, you can watch her after you rest" Nicholas says which once again surprises all of us, Ray doesn't argue with this just simply smirks over at me while walking out. What was that a about-

"Has my favourite little group come to pay me a visit, I'm honestly honoured" she smiles and back to hell we go. I trace over her bloodshot eye that's turning such a deep purple and wonder if she can see through it, bitch deserved it though.

"She needs her bandage cleaned"

"I'll do it" Max begins to walk over when Himiko laughs.

"Yeah absolutely not. Bane will do it"

Each of them turn to us, their eyes continuously bounce from Bane to me and I'm confused.

"Bane?" Himiko gleams.

I move out of my way letting Nicholas pass by but he doesn't. He just stares at me not planning to move at all.

"Bane?"

"Looks like your crush doesn't want to help you as much as you seem to have convinced yourself" Max tries not laugh as he says this "most of the time people like that get checked, because you know, they're bat shit crazy" Lev chuckles at this.

"Ba-"

I cut her off "Himiko"

Her eyes snap to me "are you going to apologise for punching me?"

"Apologising would have to mean I actually feel bad, I don't"

"You really want to be standing on that pedestal there, With what I know?"

"Mmmm yeah and I'm sure you feel real powerful there but that can wait, I need to know who that women was that saved Nicholas"

She frowns "why would you care?"

"Answer the question"

"You're the one that killed him remember? So why this sudden interest in who saved him, what?, you wanna get them a thank you gift basket or something- OW!" She screams as Max wipes around the bullet wound.

"Oh I'm so sorry" Max deadpans with no emotions, he didn't even bother looking up at her as he said it.

"As I was saying, why do you even care?"

"She probably doesn't even know Mia, by the looks of her she's just stalling"

I sigh and everything falls silent again.

"If you know something answer her questions, because she's the only thing stopping any of us from killing you" Nicholas says and Himiko breaks.

"Bane-" her voice fails "why are you letting them do this to me!"
