"Push!"
The car crunches on the gravel as we push it off the road and over to the dead tree.
"Phew" exclaims Soap as he sits behind the car out of the sunlight
"Ugh I'm so thirsty" I say as I flick loose strands of hair out of my face
"Here" König holds out his flask for me to take.
"No it's ok, that's yours you can have it" I smile
"Well you have to drink something" Ghost points out "you could pass out"
"Ok fine" I say taking a small swing out of Königs flask,
I scrunch up my face in discomfort
"It's warm" I say swallowing it
"Sorry" he says
"It's not your fault don't worry" I say handing it back to him
"Does anyone else want some?" He asks quietly
"Me" says Alejandro
"Me" says Soap
"Me" says Gaz
"No stop it. We need to save it for an emergency" Price stands over us as we sit in the shade "do not drink any unless you really need to, that's an order."
"Yes captain" we say
"I'm going to walk around and try to find signal, stay here and do something, I don't care" he walks off into the desert waving his phone over his head like a teenager trying to get Wi-Fi.
I lean my head against the door of the car looking up into the sky, the sun has definitely moved closer to the horizon from when we got stuck, it's going to get dark in a few hours. It's crazy how I was watching Tv at the base just a few hours ago, and now I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere with no food and limited water.
"Y/n" says Soap
"What" I say looking back down
"Truth or dare"
"Really? We aren't twelve year olds"
"Well do you want to continue to stare at the sky until you go blind?"
"No" I mumble
"So truth or dare"
I know exactly what he's doing, either one I pick Ill have to do or say something extremely embarrassing,
"Truth" I sigh
"Have you done drugs"
"What?" I look over to him. I was expecting something else,
"No? Why would I"
"Wow we need to get Y/n a life. Ok your go"
"Do I have to"
"Yes" he nods
"Alejandro, truth or dare"
"Dare me chica"
"I dare you to sneak up on Price and scare him"
"And how would I do that, it's a completely open space" he shrugs
"That just makes it funnier" I laugh
He makes a huffing noise and stands up, we follow him around the car and watch him as he starts following Price who is about 100 meters away from us still waving his phone in the air. He makes his way closer and as he gets near he gets onto his hands and legs and starts to crawl. The air is wavy and distorted from the heat rising from the ground so we can just about make out Alejandro jumping up behind Price and screaming at him, Price jumps and drops his phone. He quickly picks it up again to examine it, he doesn't seem to be angry so it mustn't be broken. Price starts walking around again as Alejandro jogs back up to us smiling.
"Great work sergeant" I smile
"Thank you" he says as we sit back down behind the car again
"Hmmmm ok Ghost truth or dare"
"I'm not playing" he grumbles
"Oh come on hermosa, you're no fun"
Alejandro knows not to push Ghosts buttons, one time Soap was messing with him back in Ireland and he threw a chip at him and Ghost threw a whole potato at his face, we'll just say Soap never threw chips at people again.
"Ok König truth or dare"
"Oh no I'm fine I don't want to play"
"Come on just one round"
"...ok"
"Truth or dare"
"Truth"
"Are you Gay"
"What? No"
"I told you Gaz, he's not gay" Alejandro looks to Gaz
"You said I was gay?" Says König
"Alejandro I never said that" says Gaz
"You did though"
"I'm not gay" he says again
"We know don't worry" says Gaz
"Alright my go now" says König with a sudden found confidence
"Gaz truth or dare"
"Truth"
"Are you gay?" He raises an eyebrow under his sniper mask
"The fuck? No"
"Wow sorry no need to be pissy" he makes a face
I'm shocked at Königs attitude, I never knew he could be this feisty.
An awkward silence settles between us all for a moment before Gaz remembers it's his go
"Oh, hi Price, truth or dare?"
"I'm not playing that crap" he scoffs while taking a drag of his cigarette "There's no signal anywhere out there, we need to start getting wood and stuff, is anyone able to start a fire? It's going to get cold the minute the sun sets"
"I can" says Ghost "Y/n help me find things to make it"
"Sure" I smile standing up
