Simon and Price lift her into the shade and we follow behind them. We sit in silence for a moment before anyone says anything,
"Gabriella" says Simon
She looks over to him
"Is there anything you want us to tell to your family?"
She pauses for a moment,
"That- tell them that I'm sorry for leaving...and that I was the one who broke my brothers Xbox"
Everyone chuckes
"Alright" he says
We sit beside her on the sand watching the waves crash onto the shore for a few minutes,
"Be honest here, who was your favourite on the team?" Says Soap
She doesn't reply
I turn to the side and look at her, her eyes are open and looking Into the sky, her hands lying by her sides.
"Oh" Soap mumbles
"Everyone" she says
I highly doubt that but it was still nice of her to say
"Rodolfo you said she had an hour?" Says Price
"I'm sorry, Im not one hundred percent sure"
"Price"
"Yes?"
"How many times have you been shot" she says
"About five I'd say" he says, scrunching his nose
"Damn, I'll have to up my game, I've been shot twice in the span of a week"
"Hah, well I've been on the field since two thousand and three so you certainly will" he smiles

Half an hour later Simon approaches me while I'm sitting on a fallen tree at the edge of the forest,
"She's gone" he says
I nod
"I wish I could go back to last week" I say
"Why?" He sits beside me,
"I just wish I didn't treat her so badly, the only reason she was being a bitch to me was because I was one to her first"
"Don't blame yourself Y/n, I thought she liked me at first too"
"And you kept talking to her?"
"That was after she told me she didn't like me"
"Oh, and you never told me?" I say, looking at him,
"She didn't want anyone to know"
"I wouldn't have told anyone"
"I know, but it's in me to respect people's boundaries"
"I know" I smile gently
"Come here" he says holding his arms out
I wrap my arms around him, breathing in his smell
"Can we go back to normal?" He says, his voice rumbling in his chest,
"Please" I whisper
