"This is the second time we've gotten stranded somewhere. Can you believe it, Shepherd will give me a beating when we get back" says Price

"What if we don't get back" says Soap

"Of course we'll get back, we're 141"

"Does Shepherd know where we are?" I say

"Well...no but-"

"Then how the fuck are they gonna find us"

"They know we went to an island off Spain but I don't think that'll be much help for them"

"Yeah" I mumble

I look over past the rocks to Gabriellas shoes peeking out from behind a tree, Simon and Price brought her over there after she died so we wouldn't have to be looking at her. Although I'm in the army, I hate seeing lifeless bodies, they creep me out and send shivers down my spine. Especially if it's people I knew or talked to before. At my cousins funeral after she committed, I couldn't look anywhere near her coffin, I didn't take a step near it for the whole thing, only when she was getting lowered into the ground did I then throw my flowers in on top and watch as the soil rained down on the lid.

"Y/n" says Simon

"Hm?"

"Looking at her will make it worse" he says with empathy in his voice

"I know" I nod

He steps forward slightly to cover the tree with her behind it.

"Well we're obviously going to need a plan and that's the only thing I don't have right now" says Price, as he takes out a cigar and lights it.

"We're going to need food obviously" I say, "there's got to be a few coconut trees on this place"

"Yes you do that" he says, taking a long drag "König can you get wood for a fire"

He nods, heading off in a different direction.

"What will we do?" Says Alejandro, gesturing to the rest of them

"Half of you go with König and the other half go with Y/n"

"Yes sir" he says

"I'll be waiting here"

Simon, Alejandro and Soap come with me and Rudy and Gaz go with König.

"So what are we looking for" says Soap as we enter the forest

"Anything that looks like it could start a fire, and it has to be dry" I say

He gives me a thumbs up and continues searching.

"Find anything?" Says Gaz

Rudy and König shake their heads.

"Shush, if we want to catch an animal we have to be quiet" whispers König

"Right" he says back

With a small fire lighting, and a few coconuts soap knocked off a tree, we sit around the fire in silence. I take a coconut off the ground beside me and pull out my pocket knife. I place the coconut on the ground and try to chop it in half by swinging the knife down onto it but it only got stuck in the shell. I mumble in annoyance and stand up,

"Can someone try opening this" I say, sitting down again.

Price has a go at it and he manages to make a small crack down the side of it. Out of breath, he hands the knife to Simon who breaks it open first try.

"That's my man" says price

"Here abeille" says Simon handing me one half

I smile at him, a small blush appearing on my cheeks

"Simon, not while we're on a mission" says Price

"Are we even on a mission right now? We're trapped on some island with no way home" I say

"I guess"

I take a small sip from the coconut water, it's so refreshing and rich, it has almost no flavour which is even better. I pass it to Soap who's sitting beside me and he drinks it and passes it onto the rest of us.

"What are we going to do about..." says Alejandro

Price sighs

"It depends on how long we're going to be here, if it's more than a few days then we'll have to hurry her somewhere as the heat and the moisture-"

"Price" I say quickly, shivering at the thought

"Yes sorry"

We return to silence, all of us staring into the small, dancing flames of the glowing fire.
