***TIFFANI POV***
My nightmare started with the whistling of the wind, rattling the metal chimes near my balcony. I was back home, but all alone. The dark stormy clouds spread across the dense skies, my fists clenched tightly as my knuckles turned white.
I flinched in my sleep as I heard myself scream on the top of my lungs, tilting my head back in fear. Tears started pouring down my cheeks and I hastily brushed them away with my fingers. I listened strikingly to the un even breathes I was taking, pacing back and forth nervously.
Thats when I observed my face with a clearer illustration. I was as pale as a ghost, no sign of colour what so ever in my cheeks. As if all the joy and happiness had been sucked out of me. I sensed an overwhelming feeling of loss when my finger fidgeted with a necklace around my neck.
Then my eyes turned dangerously dark. Never had I witnesed my eyes this shade before. They looked so lost and broken, like I had spent months trying to search for something that was hopeless. My constant release of tears had caused the mascara on my eyelashes to smear down my faded cheeks.
Then lightning struck. I felt as if the entire balcony had shifted, making me feel dissoriented and unbalanced.
I peered over the edge of my balcony, zooming in on one particular spot. My hands clasped over the railing as a deep chuckled echoed in the atomsphere. I gasped as I witnesed two green specs of light slowly tatter back into the darkness. I backed away from the railing and made a run for my door. Trying to calm myself from fainting, then lightning stuck again.
As I ran, the door was forcefully shut in my face. I heard the mocking laugh fringe around me, almost breathing down my neck. I spun around, clenching my fists again in my hands. My chest pounding loudly as my heart gradually crept into my throat.
"Leave me alone!" I shrieked in to the stormy sky above me. "I dont want you anymore!"
The wind picked up, my long dress was being blown in all directions. My hair aggressively whipping the empty spaces around me. I tried facing my options, but there was no where I could go.
I was trapped.
The chuckle boomed simultaneously with the lightning, noticing my discomfort and weary expression. My eyes started watering again and my voice hitched as the floorboard creaked behind me.
I spun around and gasped. My eyebrows knitted in distaste as I confronted a painfully familiar face. His curls flung wildly to the side of his features and the wind raced through his messy ringlets. Dressed casually in his black material, looking dark and mysterious.
I stood planted in my spot, not being able to move. I felt furiation and irritation start to flare up inside my veins. The colour slowly beginning to flow back in to my cheeks - but not from content. From anger.
I stormed up to the tall man, towering my height. I shoved him backwards with as much strength as I could gather, yelling slurred words at him I couldnt make out in my dream. His eyes were painted on me, not leaving my sight. But I couldnt manage to find any trace of happiness in them. He looked just as broken and sad as I did.
The wind picked up more and more as I yelled at the man. His natural green eyes almost brown and his skin; lifeless and pale.
Then slowly we were being pulled away from eachother. He yelled something back at me which made me jump. I watched as my eyes widened at him and I began to desperatly try to run back. But the winds were too strong, anguish and despair washed over my senses as I realised it was too late.
He was dissapearing in front of me, the man I came to love. I screamed his name and squinted my eyes shut as I blinked back the heavy flow of tears wanting to escape from my eyes. I clawed at the air pushing me back, digging my heels in the ground as I tried to advance.
