"THE SUPREME COURT OVERRULED ROE VS WADE," Alliah said, anger coursing through her veins as she stood in front of thousands of people, gripping her microphone tight. "I know it's not your country, I know it's not the country I was born in, but it's my world and it's my fucking planet."
Cheers and screams from the crowd egged her on, giving her the confidence to get through her speech.
"It is my right, my choice, my fucking body!" Alliah shouted, anger making her voice shake, but she didn't care. Her whole world had been shaken, her city collapsed in an avalanache, but goddamn it if she wouldn't fight to build it back up again. "It is my right to my body and it is not your right to take it away!"
"There were five judges in the Supreme Court who voted to overturn Roe," Alliah explained, standing in front of the crowd, looking at Anya, who nodded at her, signaling for her to keep going. "And to those five judges, I have only two words for you; Fuck. You."
Alliah cleared her throat. "What do we have to say to the Supreme Court?" She placed a hand next to her ear, as if to listen better, as 17,000 people shouted back to her,
"Fuck you!"
"One more time, a little louder..."
"Fuck you!"
"C'mon, you can do better than that!"
"Fuck you!"
Alliah left the microphone in its stand, moving away from it and instead screamed at the top of her lungs, with all the strength and determination of the world, with red-hot fire in her veins, "Fuck you!"
