ALL THREE GIRLS FACED their attention back to the other fight going on. Now Pope and JJ were also involved as they came to John B's defense.
"Guys! Come on!" Red begged, waiting for their tussle to finish up so they could leave. She turned to Pope, who still stood out of breath, "Where's Bennie?"
"The dance floor," Pope replied, pressing his hands to his knees as he tried to catch his breath.
"Shit." Red breathed, pushing back through the crowd over to where the other half of the guests stood gathered around her as she continued dancing to 'It's Getting Hot In Here' by Nelly. "Bennie!" She called, finally getting her attention.
"Hey! Red! Red Shoupe! Y'all gotta invite me to more of these." Bennie laughed, continuing to dance. "Speaking of, where the hell is JJ? He said he'd teach me the worm and he still hasn't done it."
"JJ is helping your brothers fight it out!" Red explained, grabbing her arm. "Let's go!"
"Again? Seriously?" Bennie groaned, following back through where John B and Topper still battled it out. Bennie pushed her way close to them, finally getting Topper's attention by using every ounce of her strength to pull him off John B. "What the hell is the matter with you two?!"
