My head snapped up from my book as I heard my name get called , my eyes softening as I notice who's asked me , Joel.
He's sitting on a rocking chair , me on a hanging swing along with Tommy . It's an early morning on a Saturday , Maria was busy grocery shopping while we just sat out here on the front porch with some chocolate covered toast .
Yep. We've got chocolate now in our village again . Some people that joined our community 2 days ago , had a whole bag full of cocoa beans ! They've agreed to share some with Maria since she's the leader of the group. Seth was starting to tear up when Maria handed him some , he's always loved chocolate , especially in the kitchen . I could even hear Tommy snickering at Seth's expression .
"Oh , of course Uncle " I beamed , bouncing on my heels , fixing my flowy white short dress . And enter the house to fetch the bottle . Well , about to .
As i was about to walk in , my body collided with a bigger one . My face bumping into a chest ,
A low groan escaped from the person i front of me , making my body shift slightly , "Shit sorry.."
My gaze automatically went up as i mentally gasped at the unusually pretty boy in front of me . His hand on his chest , soothing the spot i hit him hard in. Messy auburn colored hair , freckles on his nose plastered like stars . And ,

I stood straight and tried avoiding his stares but I ended up opening my eyes up at him , "Sorry about that .." His face froze as we stood in front of each other . My lips sewed shut and i tried to stroll past him to reach the kitchen , but his hand seized hold of my arm . My lips parted in surprise , i could feel the room get hotter by the second , which was strange.
I glance at his veiny hand wrapped around my arm till i reached his gaze , he averted his stare and quickly removed his palm .
"Uhm..sorry , I just wanted to know you're name.." His eyes shined under the early morning sun rays going through our very bad coverage curtains .
