Thea's POV :

Previously on The Gleaming Gift :

"Can I speak to you , in private?"

I hesitated for a moment before nodding my head .

"Theadora , where are you going?"

I turned my head to look at Vivienne , "I'll be back!"

I revert my attention to Dina and continued following her to a quieter place .

What could she possibly want to talk about?

My heart raced as I wondered what Dina could possibly want to talk to me about.
As we reached the secluded spot, the brunette turned to face me and took a deep breath before starting to speak.

"I'm seriously sorry." She mumbled.

I narrow my gaze , "Sorry?"

She sighed and resumed , "-For treating you that way at the engagement bonfire."
She started fidgeting with her fingers , this time I don't slap her fingers like I do to Ellie because I simply don't give a fuck.

"Mhm." I boringly stare at her.

"Uhm- and I was wondering if you could forgive me , and forget that ever happened.." She looked up at me , her eyes showing real emotions .

My head was infested with a million thoughts .

"Oh -Why should I?" I squint my eyes at her , i need to play smart.

She softly smiled , "I was blinded with anger that day , I hate seeing Ellie with Cat as much as you do."

I raise a brow , "Do you..like Ellie?"

Her eyes widen , she shakes her head , "No- No It's just .. She's distancing herself more and more whilst being with Cat."

I nod , "True. But that has nothing to do with me." I cross my arms .
