Your POV

We reached the throne room where King Zarek was supposed to be. But when we got there, the king of Order was no where to be seen.

The only ones there were an Archidon, Swordwrath, and Albowtross who I recognized as Kytchu, Xiphos, and Icaron.

"Where's father?" Atreyos asked them. Xiphos looked at us. "I think he and Uncle Zilaros are with the other survivors." He replied.

I couldn't help but notice Kytchu and Icaron's suspicious gaze towards me. "Speaking of survivors, why is he here?" Kytchu asked with a glare.

"He agreed to join Order. I brought him with me because I wanted him to meet father and talk to him about his decision." Atreyos answered.

"How do you know he won't suddenly attack?" Icaron questioned. The Spearton I was holding onto rolled his eyes.

"Well first of all, if it isn't obvious, he's badly injured. Second, his weapons have been taken care of and are far out of his reach." Atreyos said with a hint of annoyance.

"Anyways, when do you think father and uncle will get back?" Icaron shrugged. "Dunno. I heard they'll be waiting until the 2 survivors wake up."

"Hm, guess we'll wait here then." Atreyos led me to a chair and helped me sit down. The wounds still hurt a lot.

But I couldn't rest peacefully with the eyes of the Royal Siblings staring at me and watching my every move.

"Um, Atreyos." I said in a low but hearable voice. He looked at me as he sat down on a chair to my right side. "What?" He asked.

"Would you mind telling your siblings to... stop looking at me like that. It's making me a bit uncomfortable." I made sure that the others could not hear me.

"Don't mind them. It's not their fault." The Spearton responded. "I mean, who wouldn't be wary when a former enemy soldier is suddenly sitting in the same room as you?"

But I still felt weird as we waited for the father of Atreyos. It was only after 15 minutes that the door to the throne room opened.

The king of Order was followed by an old Magikill wearing a blue robe and hat. I guessed that the Magikill was Zilaros, the uncle of Atreyos.

Atreyos stood up as King Zarek looked at us. "Welcome back, father." Atreyos said with a bow. "One of the Borderland Flamefeeders woke up."

The king glanced from his son to me. "Did you tell him about the offer?" He asked. Atreyos nodded. "Yes, and he said he was willing to join Order." The Spearton replied.

I nodded. "Are my comrades alright?" I asked. "What did they choose?" "One of them agreed to join Order, just like you." Zilaros replied.

"But the other one asked for a day to decide." I sighed in relief. At least we would be safe for now. Even if it meant being under the Order Empire.

"May I see them?" I said hopefully. King Zarek nodded and pointed to the door. A Shadowrath came in with one of my squad mates.

I recognized the Shadowrath as Shade, one of the royal siblings. My comrade looked like he was just as injured as me.

When he looked up and saw me, he gasped. "Y/N!" He cried as he tried to walk towards me. But he couldn't without holding onto the Shadowrath.

"Flare!" I cried back as Shade helped my friend come over to me. We tried to hug each other despite our pain, happy that we were both still alive.

"Wait, where's Pyre?" I questioned, looking at Zarek and Zilaros. "Well, since he still hasn't made his decision, we can't let him leave the infirmary." The king answered me.

"But at least we're all okay!" Flare hugged me tighter. A tear went down his face. "W-wait, you're squeezing my wounds-" I stuttered.

"OH! SORRY!" Flare immediately let go of me. I chuckled as I glance at Atreyos. But the Spearton looked like he wanted to kill Flare.

"So, when do we get our weapons back?" My friend asked. "You can get them now." King Zarek responded as he looked at Atreyos.

"Do you mind getting them?" The king asked his son. The Spearton stood up. "Alright, Atreyos will get them for you. But if you try to attack anyone..."

"We won't!" Flare interrupted as he held my hand. "Lets go!" He smiled as he tried to walk but nearly fell on the floor, almost pulling me down with him.

Atreyos rolled his eyes and helped us both get up. When we were back on our feet, he held onto both of us as we walked to get our weapons.

But I couldn't help but notice how Atreyos kept glaring at Flare.

Fun fact: I wrote part of this during a sleepover with my friends.
