Gojo was currently on his way to the airport to pick up Rin, as requested by Ieri Shoko, who was their mutual friend. He hadn't been in contact with Rin for the past ten years since her disappearance ten years ago (at the age of 16-17). As he sat in the car and drove to the airport, his mind was filled with memories of their time together.

Rin had always been his closest friend, someone he cherished deeply. But for Gojo, it was more than just friendship. He had been secretly in love with Rin for over twenty years, even though she had always been oblivious to his feelings.

The only clear image Gojo had of Rin was in his memory, frozen in time. She had always been a tomboy, full of energy and mischief. The short black hair in a bob cut and dark brown eyes that usually sparkled in mischief.... The thought of seeing her again after all these years both excited and terrified him. What if she had changed? What if she no longer saw him as her best friend? What if things were awkward because she didn't expect him to come pick her up?

Finally, he arrived at the airport and entered the bustling arrivals section. People rushed past him, reuniting with their loved ones. Gojo scanned the area, searching for any sign of Rin. He assumed he had arrived ahead of time and had some moments to kill, so he decided to grab a cup of coffee at the airport cafe.

With his coffee in hand, Gojo looked around for an empty seat. His eyes landed on an attractive woman sitting alone. She wore a stylish bucket hat, designer sunglasses, and her dress exuded elegance. Intrigued, Gojo decided to sit across from her. He approached her with a smile and asked for permission to join her.

"Excuse me, is this seat taken?" Gojo asked, pointing to the empty chair.

The woman looked up at him, her eyes hidden behind her sunglasses, and smiled. "No, it's free. You can sit here."

Gojo took the seat, his gaze lingering on the woman. Her sense of style impressed him, and he couldn't help but grin. "You have a great taste in dressing, onee-chan. Where are you from?"

The woman chuckled at his comment, finding it amusing. She decided to play along, knowing exactly who he was. "Oh, I'm from a little bit of everywhere. Just settling down here for good."

Gojo's eyes widened slightly, surprised by her response. He sensed something familiar about her, but he couldn't put his finger on it. The way she teased him, the mischievous glint in her eyes—it reminded him of only one person...Rin. But he shook his head, dismissing the thought. Rin used to dress as a tomboy, and this woman was the epitome of elegance.

Leaning back in his chair, Gojo tried to mask his uncertainty. "You know, it's considered polite to take your sunglasses off indoors..." he said with a slight grin, his voice laced with a playful tone, contradicting himself as he was wearing his signature sunglasses as well.

The woman smiled and took off her sunglasses, revealing a pair of familiar eyes. Gojo's heart skipped a beat as recognition washed over him, but doubt still lingered. Rin...? No...Could it really be her? His mind raced, searching for confirmation.

He looked at her intently, studying her features. The way her eyes sparkled, the curve of her smile—it was all too familiar. Memories flooded his mind, the laughter they had shared, the bond they had formed. Deep down, he knew it was her.

Unable to contain himself any longer, Gojo leaned forward, his voice filled with hope. "Rin, is it really you?"

Rin nodded, her smile growing wider. "Yes, Satoru. It's me. It's been a long time, hasn't it?"

Gojo's heart soared with joy. It was her—his Rin, standing before him after all these years. Excitement mingled with relief, and he couldn't help but feel a surge of emotions. They had so much to catch up on, but he also couldn't ignore the awkwardness that hung in the air.
