All we can do now is focus on killing Mother!

Interu's survival is up to her now, we have done all we can to help her.

So without any other options, we continue our assault on Mother, while Karada slacks off.

Then eventually, the Demon Lord shows up.

Then, we felt a new connection between Mother and the Demon Lord.

Looks like she is investigating us.

But Karada didn't listen, and jumped ship to attack the Demon Lord.

Almost immediately, the connection is cut off.

...Well, that's a load off my back.

And I suppose it is not a bad thing that she did.

It's not like it's a good idea to attack the Demon Lord with [Heretic Magic] anyway.

If nothing else, Karada gave her a good scare, which could work to our advantage, somehow.

Still, we have no idea if Interu is still alive or not.

Mother is now trying to reconnect to her, but nothing.

Guess they don't know either.

But if she is alive, how would the connection be cut off?

It's still happening.

I killed the source and yet the unknown Heretic attack on the Queen Taratect is still ongoing.

At the rate it is going, the Queen Taratect will die before it gets [Heresy Nullification].

The Queen Taratect has been trying to reconnect to the anomaly, but no luck, that means it's dead right?

Or did it somehow survive my attack, and found a way to cut off the connection itself.

Seriously, what the hell is happening?

I decided to use my own [Kin Control] to connect to the Queen Taratect, to see if I can get a better look at what's happening.

I am...sensing bits and pieces of Souls?

Parasites? Like that bastard's [Diligence]?

Then I felt one come towards me.

I disconnected, but it was too late.

I can feel someone attacking my Soul now.

And...what is this awful singing I am hearing!?
