Her Blazed Love (KILLUA X OC)

Chapter two

As the examiner guy talked, the group and I started walking.
'What an odd test." I thought
We started off with a walk, then it slowly escalated to a jog, I then had a thought that I said out loud by accident.

"I think I get it" I said.
The group turned twords me
"This is a test of endurance, to see how long we can go." I said
Kurapika nodded "Yes, precisely. It could also be a test of our mental capacity" He said

I hummed in thought, I wonder how long were gunna have to run like this for.

Around two hours have went by? I'm not sure.
I looked out of the corner of my eye to see leorio sweating and breathing hard. He wasn't in good shape obviously

'Is he already tired? We haven't been running for that long." I thought
Then a yell brought me out of my thoughts
"Hey! You brat, that's cheating!"leorio yelled
I looked behind me to see that white haired boy from earlier 'oh it's him.?' I thought as leorio fumed

"Hm? How so?" He said, riding a skateboard
"What?! This is an endurance test!" He said, obviously frustrated
"No it's not" gon said not too far behind leorio
Leorio and I, along with the white haired kid  turned around

"The examiner only told us to follow him" Gon said
'He has a point' I thought as the boy looked in my direction.

"Hey! Who's side are you on?! Huh?!" Leorio yelled
The boy slowed his skateboard down, to meet with gon
"How old are you?" He said. I was still looking back at the two 'who starts a conversation like that?..'

"I'm 12" gon said, the boy faltered for a second before sighing
The white haired boy then did a kick flip, getting off his skateboard in an odd way
"I guess I'll run too" he said
"Woah! That was cool!" Gon said
"I'm killua." He said
"I'm Gon!" He said

As the two started running, gon called out to me
"Kuzuko! Wait up" he said, with killua right next to him

I slowed down my pace and was now with the two boys, running at their pace
"This is killua! He's the same age as us, cool right!" Gon said excitingly
I have them a puzzled look
'He's our age? What a coincidence'
"Oh cool I guess" I shyly said, looking away
"You guess?" Killua said
I didn't say anything and kept on running, I really need to get better at socializing.

"Yeah don't worry about Kuzuko, she's always like that!" Gon said. I only sighed. Killua then hummed in thought.

We kept on running for a while, it's had to been At least four hours since we started
I looked behind me and realized that leorio was slowing down

I slowed down, not wanting to leave him behind
Leorio then dropped his briefcase, alerting gon that leorio was no longer able to keep on going

Gon then slowed down with me, almost to a complete stop
"Leave him alone. Let's go." Killua said
I sighed "not a chance, gon wouldn't leave him" I said. Despite just meeting him, I knew gon wouldn't do that.

Killua gave me a puzzled look, like he was shocked I knew how to talk, I'm not mute..
Gon said nothing and continued to stare at leorio
Killua then looked at me, giving me a confused face. I shook my head at him.

"Are you kidding me.." leorio said
He then bursted out into a full on sprint "I have to become a hunter!" He said, zooming right past us.

Gon smiled then took his fishing rod and flung it towards leorios briefcase, bringing it over
My eyes widened in suprise, man gon really is something else huh..?

"That was cool!" Killua said 
"May I borrow it after this?" Killua said as we started running agian
"Yeah! But only if I get to use your skateboard!" Gon said

I audibly groaned "You two are so weird." I said, not realizing I said it out loud
"Huh?! What did you say? You can use it too you know." Killua yelled at me, looking at me weirdly. A small smile came on my face.

"That wasn't what I meant but, thanks!" I said back. He only scoffed as he continued running.

Some time passed and we got to stairs, 'you've got to be kidding me.'
"We've passed the 80 kilometer mark, I say it's time to pick up the pace, yeah?" Satoz said

I sighed, how annoying. Not like it was much different from the times back at that orphanage. Sometimes we were forced to run for hours on hours.

"Gon, Kuzuko, do you wanna bet who here gets to the finish line first?" Killua said
I looked towards him "I honestly don't really care to be honest, I just wanna pass." I said, staring at him blankly

Killua narrowed his eyes at me, not saying anything as he got annoyed at my answer.
gon then spoke up, "Sure! Loser buys dinner!" He said "yes, you bet!" Killua said
"Read, set, go!" They said, running towards the stairs
"Ugh, I might aswell join" I said, not wanting to be alone .

We then ran up the stairs, catching up to leorio and Kurapika
I could hear yelling from far away, seems like kurapika and leorio were arguing as usual
We caught up to them, "I've got to go, old man!" Killua said
"I'm not that old! I'm a teenager just like you four!" He yelled, causing all of us to be in shock

We were running past people who fell on the stairs, unable to keep going. Something about that gave me determination to keep going, even thought I wasn't that tired.

"I'm kinda suprised you guys are able to keep up with me" Killua said, gesturing to gon and I
"Oh, really?" Gon sheepishly laughed, I said nothing and kept going

"I would say everyone else is slow, Aw man, looks like the hunter exam isn't to hard after all. It's so boring" he said complaining
"you complain alot" I said, agian without thinking
Killua then snapped his head twords me "huh?! What did you say?!" He said, glaring at me. I only smiled briefly at him, before looking infront of me agian.

"Oh, nothing." I said, smiling. This only irked him more.
"Killua, why do you wanna be a hunter?" Gon said
"Oh me? I'm not into becoming a hunter" he said
We both gave him a puzzled look

"I just heard the exam was pretty difficult, so I wanted to try it for fun" he said
Of course that's his reasoning. He really is weird

"What about you, gon?" Killua said
"Oh, it's because my dads a hunter, so I want to be just like him!" Gon said
"What kind of hunter is your dad?" Killua said
"I don't know"

Killua and I started laughing
"How do you not know?" I said, Turing twords gon
"It's because Mito raised me. I only got to know my dad through pictures" gon said
"That makes sense" I said, in thought.

"What about you, Kuzuko?" Gon said, turning towards me
"Hm? Oh I don't really know." I lied, the truth was I didn't know what else to do, so I got bored and decided to take the exam.
Killua gave me a skeptical look, then brushing it off, why is he so suspicious of me?

"Really? What do you mean?" Gon said
I panicked a bit, not wanting to share my past with them "oh I.." I said, not knowing what to say.

Everyone then gasped "I see the exit!" "Light! We're saved!"
I thanked the timing, cause I don't know if I would've been able to make up another lie.

I wonder what this next part is..
