Chapter 27

I was in my room, practicing my ren, seeing how much I can make the leaf change. Beads of sweat dropped down my face as I did the water divination.

"There.."I whispered as I saw the leaf turn into a whole plant, much better than before. Many days passed as I continued to work on my water stuff, making huge progress as I continued to train.

I lifted weights, feeling tired as my muscles hurt, then turning around tand doing nen taraining took a toll on me.

We were now all gathered together to show wing what we had accomplished. "Kuzuko, you go first." Wing instructed me, as he placed the leaf on the glass.

I activated ren, putting my hands around the cup, suddenly, you could see the leaf starting to grow, making a stem as more and more leafs started to form. After a while, i had created a whole plant.

"Very impressive Kuzuko, you pass." He said, grabbing a new leaf. I jumped in excitement as I was happy I had passed.

"Killua, your next." Wing said as he looked at killua. He then activated his ren, placing his hands around the glass.

The ren then turned off, "I'm done." He said. We all then took a taste of the water, seeing how sweet it got.

"Wow! It's so sweet!" I said as I tasted it. "It's like honey." Zushi said. "That's awesome! Whenever you want honey just ask killua-" I said before he shoved me. "No! Quit being a moron." He said.

"Zushi, your next." Wing said as he replaced killuas nen water. After Zushi concentrated on his nen, the leaf only twitched a bit. "That's the best I can mange.." he said as he wiped sweat off his head.

"That's fine, but it won't be enough to pass." Wing said. I frowned at the boy, wishing he had advanced with us. "Gon, your turn now." He said as gon placed his hands around the cup.

Suddenly, the cup broke, causing water to overflow massively. making it hard to control. "Gon!" "Stop! Stop gon!" Wing said as water continued going everywhere.

"I had a pretty good feeling about this." He said. I raised my hand. "Good job guys!" I said, giving gon and killua a high five.

"Gon, Kuzuko, and killua, you graduate today!" He said with a smile. 'I passed?' I thought in shock.

"We did it guys!" Gon said as we all did a fist bump, happy with our accomplishments. "Master, so what about me?" Zushi asked. My smile faded as I felt like wing was gunna keep him behind.

"You still need to train a bit more." Wing said. "It's okay Zushi." I said, knowing how bad it feels to lose. "I belive in you, you'll get there one day!" I said as I pat him on the shoulder. "Thanks Kuzuko!" He said, feeling more confident.

"Keep at it." Killua said, encouraging him aswell. "Kuzukos right, you can do it Zushi!" Gon added, agreeing with my statement.

"And gon, Kuzuko. I have something important to tell you." Wing said, catching our attention. "Gon Freecss, and Kuzuko Murasaki. You both have passed the other Hunter exam!" He said, smiling at us.

Gon, killua and I all looked at EACHOTHER with confusion, not knowing what he meant. "You passed." Wing said. "Congratulations."

"The other Hunter exam?" Gon asked. "Yes. You two were able to pass splendidly." "What do you mean?" Gon continued. "In order to become a full Hunter, one must learn nen." Wing explained. 'Oh that makes sense.'

"One of your Duties as a hunter will be apprehending evil poachers and criminals" wing explained. "Let's go!" I said, happy I get to chase criminals.

"Oh so you were gunna teach us, or gon and Kuzuko all along?" Killua asked, putting his hands above his head. "Yes. I should mention that the Gramd Master of Shingen-ryu is chairman netero." He said, I paused. "That old man? I guess it makes sense." I said as killua gave me a weird look.

"Killua." Wing said, catching his attention agian. "Huh?" "Please take the Hunter exam agian, you will definitely pass." Wing said, encouraging him. "Yeah, you got this!" I said, making him flustered, a smirk grew on my face from it.

"Well if I feel up to it." He said, looking away in embarrassment. "Hey Mr wing, have you heard from any others that passed?" Gon asked, making me perk up in intrest.

"Yes. Hanzo and Kurapika have learned nen from other teachers. "Pokkle is struggling with ren, and leorio has begun studing for the medical exam." He said. "Hisoka and Illumi already knew nen, so they were qualified." He said, making me gag at the two. Killua only smirked at my reaction, whatever that means..

"Now gon, I have one piece of advice. When you fight hisoka tomorrow, don't push yourself to hard." He said. I also turned twords gon. "Yeah, you don't need to win. Just punch that loser!" I said, smirking at him.

"Yeah!" He yelled, determined. We now had fully left wings teachings, making me happier than ever.

It was now the day of gon vrs hisokas fight. My stomach twisted and turned in worry, man why did he have to pick a fight with a literal murderer?

"Today is the day of gon vrs hisokas fight! The one you've all been waiting for." Cocco yelled once more, man I'll be happy when I don't have to hear that anymore.

I sat in my seat anxiously, knowing that this could go tremendously wrong if hisoka wanted it to. Killua then sat next to me. "Quit worrying. He's gunna be fine." He said as he read through me. "It's just that.." i choked. Killua looked at me wide eyed as he didn't expect me to open up.

"What if he gets killed? Hisoka has killed almost every opponet he has ever faced." I said, thinking of the time killua told us.

"He won't. I promise." He said, placing a hand on my shoulder, making me blush slightly. Suddenly, the lights went out, making me jump slightly, causing killua to laugh at me. "Shut up!" I said, my old demeanor back.

Gon then appeared in a cloud of smoke. How cool..."gon is the first to arrive! After four fights, he has a record of 3-1!" She yelled, catching my attention back at the rink as people yelled, cheering him on.

"And next with a fiery display..is hisoka!" Coco yelled, making people scream in excitement. "His lethal battle with kastro is still stuck on everyone's mind." She said, i then mentally gagged as I remembered the gruesome event.

The two stared at hisoka bent backwards, twitching. Killua said nothing as he watched the match, ignoring my fretting on the side.

Gon then charged right at hisoka head on, leaping to punch him, put hisoka of course dodged. He then gave him a series of attacks, which hisoka dodged them all.

He was then kicked, spiraling until he landed. "Gon.." I said, worried for my friend. Hisoka then smacked him in the stomach, making him lose his breath. "Ouch." Killua said, wincing at gon.

More and more attacks happened, as hisoka dodged them all, he hit gon in the nose with his elbow, making gon strike him in the arm.

Hisoka then punched gon right in the stomach, making him fly a few feet, but he flung back, continuing to attack hisoka.

After multiple attacks, hisoka once agian strikes gon, making him wince in pain. "Clean hit! One point to hisoka!" The reff yelled.

"Wh-What a extreme situation! I can't get a word in edgewise!" Cocco said, shocked at the fight. Hisoka then smirked. "What's wrong? I haven't moved a step from where I started." He said, taunting gon.

"What? Really?! Just you wait!" He yelled, getting fustrated. Killua then spoke from next to me. "Hisokas having fun." I turned to him, "yeah, he's taunting gon too." I said in reply. "In terms of actual skill, there's a world of difference in thier combat experience. But, hisoka has a weakness." He continued. "Hm? What is it?" I asked.

Killua then turned to me. "Hisoka thinks that he's stronger, so he won't back down. That gives gon an opening." He said. I only nodded in thought, he better not hurt gon or I'll go down there myself.

Once more, gon charged right at hisoka, moving at lightning speeds as he attempted to strike him. He then lifted the tile agian, striking it with his foot. "There it is! Gons stone wall flip!" Cocco yelled.

He then hid behind the rubble, giving him an opening. Allowing him to strike hisoka. My mouth opened as a smile came on my face. "He did it!" I yelled as killua smiled at me. "Yeah he did."
