Chapter 42

I was talking with gon and killua separately in a room. "Huh? Weren't you the one who wanted to capture the phantom troupe?" Gon asked, looking at killua.

"It would all be pointless now." He said. Gon tilted his head in confusion. "Huh? Why?" He asked.

I then spoke up. "The rewards gone, so even if you capture them, there's no benifit for it." I said, backing killua up.

"You'd be taking a big risk for nothing." He continued. "Well yeah, but capturing the phantom troupe would be worth it!" Gon said, trying to convince him.

Killua then stepped forward, getting into Gons face as he pointed at him. "Your getting your priorities mixed up." He said.

I sat back, watching the two bicker. "Did you forget why were even here?" He asked. Gon sweatdropped.

"Greed island." He answered. "Exactly!" He said, getting out of his face. "The southernbees auction will start in two days." He said, putting his hands on his hips.

"Well I have a plan to get the game." He said. I perked up in intrest, wondering what he meant. "What's your plan?" Killua asked.

Gon thought for a moment before answering. "It's a secret right now!" He answered. Suddenly, killua grabbed him and started holding him, like he was chocking him.

"Stop being coy and spit it out!" He yelled. I only watched as the two faught agianst eachother. "Gon, what's the percentage of the likeliness of this plan off yours is to work?" I asked, stoping killua from basically killing gon.

"Maybe 70%?" He answered. "70?" Killua and I both shouted, that's a little high. "Well maybe 60%!" He said.

I only sighed. "So it's a fifty fifty." I said, those odds aren't that attractive, but it's better than nothing.

"Okay have it your way. I'll let you handle the game, but we can't deal with the troupe alone." Killua said, agreeing with Gons plan.

"We will absolutely need kurapikas help." He said. Gon only agreed. I didn't say anything as I didn't like this at all. I mean if it helps them then I dont care.

I saw leorio and kurapika talking in the lobby. So we all ran up to them. I noticed that killua had a weird look on his face, I looked slightly beofre brushing it off.

"Kurapika! Let us help" gon said as we all stood there. "The reward was taken back." Kurapika said.

"I know. I want to stop the phantom troupe." Gon said. I wished slightly that kurapika would turn him down.

"You'd be risking your lives." Kurapika said, now facing us fully. "I know that." Gon replied, still not giving up.

"Okay let's make a plan." Kurapika said, I only groaned as I now had to do work. Killua also sighed violently, I guess not wanting to do it either.

We all sat down as we discussed a plan. "First, we will need someone to watch their base." Kurapika said. "I can do that." Killua said, raising his hand.

"Our target is the woman, pakunoda. Ignore everyone else." Kurapika explained. Worry grew in my stomach, man I hope this goes smoothly.

"Be very careful." Kurapika said. "Don't worry, I won't push my luck." Killua said. I only sighed, my stomach growing upset. "I will need a driver to accompany me." Kurapika said.

I looked at leorio, he's the only one here that can drive kurapika, so it had to be him. "Leorio, can you handle that?" He asked, turning to him.

"Huh? Yeah.." he said, pushing up his glasses. "It'll be fine, your safe if your with kurapika." Killua said, trying to comfort him.

"Kurapika, what about me?" Gon asked. "I will need you to be a decoy, to throw the enemy off." He said.

"And Kuzuko, your knowlage in medical will come in handy, you will also be a backup fighter accompanied with me." Kurapika said, looking at me.

"Yeah, okay." I said, not liking Gons role. "Hold on! Isn't Gons role really dangerous?" Killua saix, also not liking it.

"He will have to face the troupe members agian!" He said. I then perked up, "wait, since I never actually met them, they don't know me. So I can take Gons -" I was cut off by killua shouting.

"No, Kuzuko your not taking Gons role, it's far to dangerous." I tilted my head at him. "Huh? But it makes sense?" I said, wondering why he was so upset about it.

"Are you perhaps worried about me?" I said, smirking slightly at him. "Duh?! Last think we need is you getting kidnapped and hurt agian." He said, not even in the least flustered.

"Killuas right, Kuzuko. I need you to be my backup. Gons got it covered." Kurapika said. I only sighed, "alright." I said, slouching.

"But it all depends on our strategy." Kurapika said, looking at us. "While the enemy is occupied with gon, I will capture pakunoda and escape by car. If anything goes wrong, that's what Kuzukos for." He said.

I looked at him, wondering what could go wrong. "There are too many uncertainties for me to make a concrete plan. That's why I need someone like Kuzuko to keep it all in check." He said, bringing me up agian.

"Yeah, you can count on me." I said, smiling at him. "Gon, you are the key." Kurapika said, looking at him.

"Can you handle it?" He asked. I looked at gon from where I was standing. "I'm not sure, I'll need to think about it." He said.

"We will have six hours. If the auction proceeds as normal, the spiders will make thier move beofre then." He said, looking at us confidently.

"Hey, why are you accepting our help now?" Killua asked. I turned too kurapika, Intrested aswell.

"Because the risk I'm taking has increased. I need to Eliminate pakunoda immediately." He explained. I nodded, it makes sense, if those two get captured agian, it's surely bad news.

"Kurapika. Could you put your nen dagger on me?" Gon asked. We all looked towards him in shock.

"Gon, weren't you listening? If he attacks anyone who isn't a spider he will die!" Leorio yelled. I looked at him wearily, where did this come from?

"Then why is there a nen blade in his heart?" Gon asked. We all perked up in realization, he's right!

"What I'm about to tell you will increase my risk further." He said, looking down. "Okay." Leorio said as he stood up, now right next to me.

"Cmon, killua, Kuzuko." He said, killua then stood up as we walked out of the room, secretly going behind the couch.

"Each of my five chains have a different function. Two of those I use agianst the spiders." He explained. I tuned out the whole thing, not really interested.

After his explanation, we all stood up from behind the couch. "Hey, can you make me one." I said first. "Yeah, us too." Leorio said, butting in.

"Killua, Kuzuko, leorio!" Gon said. "What do you say?" Killua asked. "The answer to both questions is yes." He said.

"But you four are making a mistake." He said. "I never had any intention on using my nen dagger on you guys." He said.

Gon then perked up. "Then why put yourself in such danger by telling us your secret?" He said. "Gon I wanted...no, I wanted to thank all of you for my resolve." Kurapika answered.

"I've been blessed with good friends.." kurapika said, I smiled softly at him, grateful as well.

"Well, I'll head out then." Killua said, walking away. "Good luck, don't die." I said, smiling at him. He only scoffed as he didn't say anything. "Be careful killua!" Gon yelled. "Yeah! I got this. Also, Kuzuko." He said, stopping.

"Don't get injured, got it?" He said. I chuckled, "no promises!" I yelled, making him aggravated.
