Chapter 9

After wandering around for a while with killua, I sensed as someone started tailing us. Killua seemed to notice it too, but we didn't say anything about it.

"So your from an elite family of assassins?" I asked, trying to start a conversation. "Yeah. It's pretty lame."he said as he sighed
'What a weirdo..' I thought as I walked slightly behind him.

"You said you were an orphan right? So you don't have parents.' He casually said, Turing around to face me. My eyes widened "ah, yeah." I said, not keeping eye contact with the boy.

"What happened to them?" He asked, still looking at me as we walked. "I'm not sure actually. I pretty much raised myslef and never got to know them." I said, keeping a huge part of my past out.

He only narrowed his eyes at me. "Quit lying Kuzuko." He said, sighing. I paused momentarily before speaking, as his sentence caught me off guard. "What? I'm not" I said as convincingly as possible. "It's obvious. You were distracted during your match back at trick tower." He said

I sighed. "Fine. You caught me. But I don't want to talk about it killua" I said sternly. He only sighed "Cmon moron, don't hide it from me it's only gunna make it worse."

"Well whatever stupid. I Atleast don't have finger knives." I said, insulting him. He snapped his head at me, then getting in my face. "Excuse me?! Shut up! Your the one who's creepily strong!" He said, yelling at me. I only smiled at him. "Creepily strong? Sounds a lot like you." He paused for a moment before talking

"I've never been insulted and complimented at the same time..your so weird" he said as he lifted his finger and starting poking me.

Suddenly the first presence we felt escalated into two more, making three people target us. Killua gave me a look, as he knew too. "Oi! I'll never give you a opening. So just give up." He said, turning twords the trees.

"It took us a while." The one said
"Are you done?" The other voice said from over there. We both paused and looked at the area, boredly.
Suddenly they started kicking thier brother "what are you?! And idiot?! You can't even beat a kid?!" They yelled, obviously angry.
"It's not that Amori!" The one brother pleaded
"What do you mean, "it's not that?!""
"I don't want to hurt a little kid!" He said as he continued pleading. "So I was gunna take it while he slept!" He said. The brother only got angrier and got in his face.

Killua and I only blankly started at them, making faces at eachother from time to time. Suddenly the brother got up and faced us.

"Give me your badge, boy. And you too, the more points I get the better!" He said at us, peering down since we were significantly smaller.
"Idiot." Killua said, obviously not having it. Killua suddenly got kicked in the stomach, being flown back several feet. Leaving me alone with the man.

"You! Now girl! Or you get it!" He said, the demeanor being more violent this time around.
"I'm good, thanks."I said. He went to go hit me, but I dodged right in time before he landed.
Killua then stood up, taking out the mans badge. "Number 198 is it?" He said. He then looked at me "Kuzuko, your target was 197, right?" He said, looking at me. "Yeah." I replied he then vanished and sharpened his nails around one of the man's neck.

"Don't move. My nails are sharper than n knives." He said, absolutely scaring one of them.

I slowly walked over, hoping into a tree. 'Even if killua is holding one of them as a hostage, this can't be good for me either. One of them could attack me out of spite' I thought. "What? Your 197?" He sighed.

"Here Kuzuko!" He said, throwing the badge at me "Thanks! Your awesome!" I said from the tree. He flustered a bit before going back to his normal attitude. He then grabbed his badge and threw the extra one a different direction, making the brothers all scurry to find thier badge.
