I was awoken from a pretty great slumber when a hand smacked my face.

I immediately shoot off the bed and look over at Rosie.

My very VERY pregnant wife.

And by very I mean she's gonna pop at any minute.

"Fuck- what's wrong?" I ask.

"My water just broke."

See, I told you!

Shit!

I immediately throw on some clothes and grab the hospital bag we prepared months ago.

I pack up the car before making my way back upstairs.

When I reach our bedroom, I'm shocked to find our bed empty.

"Ro?" I called out.

"In here!"

I head into our bedroom just to find her taking a shower.

"Uh...shouldn't we be going to the hospital?" I ask.

"I don't have contractions yet, so we have time." She says calmly.

HOW IS SHE SO CALM?!

She's about to push a child out of her vagina!

She takes her time in the shower and even has time to do a bit of makeup.

"Oh fuck!" She gasps as she grips the counter.

"What's wrong?"

"Contraction." She groans.

I immediately carry her into my arms and she yelps.

"I can walk you idiot!" She chuckles.

"I'm not taking any chances."

I quickly place her in the passenger seat and we speed off towards the hospital.

"How are you doing?" I ask.

"I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Babe! Stop asking me so many questions!" She snaps followed by a wince.

This is what the majority of her pregnancy was like.

Her having the weirdest mood swings and me constantly annoying her about how she was feeling.

I can't help it!

What if something wasn't okay?

We quickly pull into the hospital and a few nurses come out and help seat Rosie onto a wheelchair.

I was about to follow her but one of the male nurses got in my way.

"Sir, you're gonna need to park your car in a proper parking spot." He explains.
