Chapter 45

Diego's POV:

Tonight's the next show and everyone's getting ready in the back, including the dancers and the jury too.

- You look better and better every day - I said to Selvaggia while I was standing beind her as she was getting ready.

- Thank you, handsome - she replied with a little smirk, but she couldn't smile too much as her make-up was being made right now.

- I wonder how many men thinks I'm the luckiest man alive...

- Luckiest man alive, huh? - she looked up at me this time.

- Yes... Because with, or without make-up... You're incredible beautiful... - I smiled at her which made her smile again.

- You're crazy - she said as she was done with the make-up and stood up to stand in front of me.

- Crazy for you - I winked.

- Okay, people! - Milly came into the room - 5 minutes and we're starting so everyone get in place!

Then we all went to our places, but on half way I noticed Clari.

When our eyes met she gave me a kind smile then went with Marco to their place too.

We're half way in the show and this is the moment when Clari and Marco comes.

I could see that Selvaggia was already getting herself ready to give her opinions which either way would have been something bad, or even worse.

But at the end...

- Amazing! - she started which surprised me so much that I couldn't even pay attention to the rest of the speech.

Clari's POV:

I felt amazing after this performance and with everything together tonight was amazing.

For some reason first Selvaggia seemed to be getting ready to say something bad, but then she didn't and she was nicer than I thought she's going to be.

Also Marco seemed to be acting his normal self again tonight which made me even happier too...

But I remember he wanted to say something a few days ago and I honestly... Seriously wanted to know, but I didn't know how to ask him about it...

- Marco... - I mumbled when we arrived to my house.

- Yes?

- I uh... Will you stay here for some time? Just to talk... And stuff like that?

- Well... Yeah... Sure - he replied, smiled at me then he indeed stayed with me for some more time in the evening and just a few hours later he left to go home too.

God, he's incredibly cute!

But I still don't know if what he wanted a few days ago was what I'm still thinking he wanted...

Diego's POV:

The next day everything went on the same way as always.

Everyone was doing their own stuff...

- Yesterday's show was pretty amazing! They were even better than last weekend - I said as I sat down next to Selvaggia in the living room.

- Emanuele Filiberto still gets on my nerves - she groaned.

Oh yeah. There's that guy, Emanuele Filiberto...

That guy has literally been the most annoying person in this whole show and not just because he keeps bothering Clari too, but because he's being an asshole when it comes to Selvaggia to speak, but no one actually notices it.

Well... Except me and her.

- Don't let him piss you off... He doesn't deserve your attention - I said as I kissed her hand.

- I know, but it's still annoying! The way he speak, he... Whatever he does is just annoying to me!

- As I said earlier... He doesn't deserve your attention - I continued then I smiled at her - Someone else deserves it more.

- Oh really? - she asked back, turning to face me properly - And who could that be?

- The person's sitting right here - I said as I placed her hand on my cheek which immediately made her smile.

- Then we pretty much agree in this one too - she said as she smiled even more now - How are you doing this all the time? Making me smile like this so easily?

- I just don't like to see you annoyed, or sad... That's all.

She now placed her other hand on my cheek too.

- I could never wish for a better husband in this world... I love you... - she said as she now kissed me softly on the lips.

- I love you too...
