Super Junior spent the rest of January in mourning with their leader. Unfortunately, Leeteuk was still in the miliary so they gave him only one week rest. They mainly stayed at the dorm, only getting out to groceries. The most surprising thing was seeing Hangeng again. His sudden appearance brought up old scars but Hangeng reassured he's move past those grievances. He got to reunite with Henry and Zhoumi who rejoiced at their leader as well meeting the Chinese line of EXO. After a week of staying over he too returned to his home country.
Soon after Lee Sooman called for the return of SM the Ballad to highlight his artist's vocal talent. One song they were working on was called Breath which Shinee Jonghyun and SNSD Taeyeon collaborated on, TVXQ Changmin and F(x) Ksystal for the Japanese release, and Eric Chou of EXO-M and Chinese singer Zhang Liyin for the Chinese release.
The second song promoted was called Blind. Eric Nam was expected to sing the Korean version while Yesung sung the Japanese, and Zhoumi singing the Chinese version as part of the second volume album.
"I'm so proud of you my boy. You look exceptionally handsome." Lee Sooman nodded in approval.
"Gomaeoweyo ajusshi, it took a little longer than I would like but you know how finding a great dress can be. Glad Siwon hyung was there to help me." Eric said gratefully.
That's understandable my son, Let's not keep the others waiting." Sooman nodded as Eric took a deep breath for the song. He used his mellow voice he was known for to evoke feelings of love and regret. Afterwards Yesung and Zhoumi performed their own versions. The music video featured Changmin as the main character and upcoming actress Moon Gayoung as the love interest.
