“Uy bakit ka natulala dyan?” tanong sakin ni Kiefer
“Ha? Kasi diba sabi ko say o parang nakita ko si Denise kanina.” Then I handed my phone to him para makita niya yung text
“Nasan na daw siya?” he asked
“Di ko rin alam Kief eh. Nag-aalala na ako.” Sabi ko naman. I’m too protective sa mga friends ko. Especially ngayon, hindi ko na alam kung ano nangyayari sa kanya. Tapos din a rin mareach yung phone niya.
“Relax ka lang. Sabi niya family naman daw ni Fort kasama niya di ba?” tanong ni Kiefer
“Oo.” Sabi ko naman
“Di naman papabayaan ni Fort yun eh. Alam mo naman kung gano kamahal ni Fort un diba? Yaan mo na, malay mo dahil dun maging okay na rin sila.” Sabi niya habang hinahatak niya yung kamay ko.
Hindi na rin ako nakipag debate, although medyo hindi mapalagay yung loob ko dahil kay Denise pero totoo rin naman yung sinabi ni Kief. Siguro, planado talaga to ni God.
Sa sobrang tulala ko, hindi ko na rin namalayan na nasa parking na pala kami. I walked past Kiefer para pumunta kay Thomas para na rin mag thank you. Hindi na rin sumama si Kiefer kasi he’s starting the engine.
“Thoms, thank you. Alam ko mabigat pa rin ang nararamdaman mo pero life goes on. Alam mo yan. Maybe hindi lang talaga siya para sayo.”
“Siguro nga hindi siya. Dumaan lang siya para saktan ako. How unfortunate.” Thomas said
“You’re getting harsh on yourself na naman. Maybe ang purpose talaga niya is matuto ka.” Sabi ko naman.
“I don’t know, Alex. I really don’t know. Malalagpasan ko rin ‘to.” He said while his eyes were full of tears
I cupped his face and hugged him. Thomas needs a friend and I have to be one. After all, hindi naman porket natapos na yung relationship namin, eh hanggang dun nalang yun.
“You’ll eventually learn to move on, how to be strong and live your life, and pag dumating yung araw na yun, there will come a point in your life where you’ll thank her. For breaking your heart, you become someone new, someone who’s better and not bitter.” I said
“Ang swerte niyo sa isa’t isa ni Kiefer. Sana kayo talaga.” He said while hugging me tighter
“Thanks chubs. Basta I’m a text away ah.” I said. Then I heard Kiefer honking so nagpaalam na agad ako.
“Ingat kayo ah.” Then she kissed me on the cheek
Lumapit agad ako sa kotse and then pumasok.
“Ano pinagusapan niyo?” Kiefer asked
“Wala naman. Some friendly reminders. Then maswerte daw ako sayo.” I said while winking
“Syempre. Bakit naman hindi diba?” he said.
