§ CHAPTER NINETY—FIVE §
" let's Kill Hitler "

EVE was just straight up fucking confused. She understood the fact that they had been shrunken and shoved into a massive replica of Amy Pond which was controlled by a whole bunch of little people. She also understood that the Doctor was dying and there was no way to save him... but she couldn't help but pray there was. The only thing she didn't understand was why they were watching the once Melody Pond, now turned River Song, look at her self in the mirror.

"Eve, I know you're worried about the Doctor, okay?" Amy snapped the girl out of her small daydream as they stood next to a man inside the lift they had entered. "But... we need you to focus and help us. You're the one with the powers! You're also the only one who actually has proper knowledge of what's going on!"

Eve blinked for a moment, glancing around the room. "Right..." she nodded before walking forward to stand next to the girl. "Yeah, sorry." She muttered yet her mind didn't agree. It continued to stray toward the thought of the Doctor, worrying if that was the last time she would ever see the Time Lord alive...

He was... but barely. He was alive but he was clinging onto the edge. The Doctor gasped as he fell on all fours, groaning as the pain roared through him. His voice was strained and the pain he was in was evident in the way his voice trembled. "I'm... shutting down." He panted before turning around to sit against the railing. The Tardis seemed empty without all the usual commotion from the companions. "Going to need an interface. Voice interface. Come on, emergency!"

A hologram version of the Doctor appeared in front of him, emotionless. "Voice interface enabled."

The Doctor groaned with both pain and discomfort. "Oh, no, no, no, no! Give me someone I Like."

The Interface changed from him to another. She was blonde, her blonde hair mostly, it only reaching just above her shoulders. The Doctor scoffed. "Oh, thanks! Give me guilt!" The face changed once again to another woman. Her hair was dark and a red leather jacket was on her torso. "Also guilt!"

The Interface changed once again to a red-haired woman with a hand on her hip. "More guilt!" The Doctor spoke before he clutched his chest as the sweat rolled down his face. The pain being unbearable as he clutched where one of his hearts would be. "Come on, there must be someone left in the universe I haven't screwed up yet."

The Doctor squeezed his eyes shut as he clutched his chest. A familiar voice echoed out through the Tardis. It was a kind, gentle voice. A voice he had heard quite recently. To him, it was almost like the voice gave him relief, his mind almost forgetting the pain for a moment. "Voice Interface enabled."

"Evie?" The Doctor opened his eyes slightly, panting as he tried to speak. The familiar brunette stood there, her hands on her hips as the familiar suit she had worn the day they met rested on her figure. Her face was the same. No scars, unlike the current Eve who was running around in a world War. It was almost as if the girl had been taken from the past and put into the present. "Oh, Evangeline Parker before I got it all wrong! My darling Evie."

"I am not Eve Parker." The familiar American Voice echoed out. "I am a voice interface."

"Hey, let's run away and have adventures." He smiled weakly. It was almost as if the man had forgotten all about the situation, his mind taking him back to the past. "Come on, Parker."

"I am not Eve Parker." The Eve's echoed out. "I am a voice interface."

"You are so American." He chuckled weakly. "How am I doing?"

"You're system has been contaminated by the poison of the Judas Tree," the Doctor let out a groan as he gripped the right side of his neck, staring at the holographic Eve. "You will be dead in 32 minutes."

"Okay, so, basically better regenerate, that's what you're saying?"

"Regeneration disabled." The holographic Eve barely blinked. She didn't even frown. It was just an emotionless expression resting on her face. "You will be dead in 32 minutes."

"Unless I'm cured, yeah?"

"There is no cure. You will be dead in 32 minutes."

The Doctor groaned. "Why do you keep saying that?"

"Because you will be dead in 32 minutes." The interface repeated.

"You see, there you go again. Basically skipping 31 whole minutes when I'm absolutely fine." The Doctor waved his hand around as he spoke. "American, that's all I'm saying."

"You will be fine for 31 minutes. You will be dead in 32 minutes."

"River needs me. She's only just beginning, I can't die now." The Doctor groaned.

"You will not die now." The interface spoke. "You will die in 32 minutes."

"I'm going out in the first round. Ringing any bells?" The Doctor let out a loud scream as he clutched his chest, throwing himself forward, his chest meeting the cold Tardis Floor as he lay there. "Okay, need something for the pain now. Come on, Evie. It's me. Sweetheart, please, it's me."

"I am not Eve Parker. I am a Voice interface."

"Evie, listen to me... I can be brave for you but you have got to tell me how." The interface continued to repeat itself, the holographic Eve just staring down at the Doctor. "Evie... Eve, please..." The Doctor slowly closed his eyes, his hope fading as he lay there.

"You're an idiot." He heard an American voice scoff with a laugh.

His eyes snapped open. They travelled toward the hologram, who's face was still straight.  "What did you say?" The Doctor asked as he stared up at the hologram with shock. A laugh took over his face as he spoke once again. "Did you just call me an idiot?" He laughed loudly before groaning as he tried to stand. "Oh, Evangeline Parker! You just called me an idiot!"

The Time-lord groaned as he came to a stand, his hand grabbing the lever not far away from him as he looked up. "She called me an Idiot!" The Tardis shook as it travelled, the Doctor only smiling as he thought of the American who would be waiting for him.

I had no idea what I was doing with this chapter,
I just kind of went with want my brain told me!
Also I had no idea what to make "interface Eve" say,
So she just called him an idiot instead. 🤷‍♀️
